hey bud awesome vids but I have a highlifter 1000 aswell it's the 2018 which I don't think makes a difference but I wanted to try bkts like u and just wondering if there is anything you have to say about them after riding them a few times... how do they stack up to outlaws
Blake westbrook bkts are great but alot different ridding then outlaws. My big turning point was weight. My 33 bkt 171 are lighter than the outlaws that came on it. Bkts are tractor tires so they dig pretty good and ride good as well. Personally bkts over outlaw 2s anyday.
Blake westbrook well one you put on after market wheels it pushes eveything out enough so where you want hit the snorkle duct. The fender is the only thing that needs trimming.

That limp mode, check the inside of your air filter too! I fought with it and didn’t think of normal stuff and turned out the actual mesh inside the filter had let go

If you're looking for the polaris ones like the ones on the 1000 you can order them through polaris or a polaris dealer. I just got the orange front bumper for my '19 850 highlifter.
Yea you just have to take one little grill insert out on the front for the lower attachment. You will also need the bolts but you can pull part numbers from the 2019 1000 highlifter OEM schematics. You can also just look at the description and match the bolts at a hardware store they are not super unique.
Thanks for sharing👍🏻 How did you go about cutting the plastic on the radiator cover or whatever for the snorkels..? Love the wheels! I’m running the wheels it came with but took 3psi out of them for a much smoother ride cause l find the shocks really stiff, but that’s because it’s built for the mud. Thinking l should of bit the bullet and bought the 1000 cause l sure do miss the power steering! Again thanks for sharing and keep the videos coming🍻
I think mine were at 8psi and dropped it to 5psi. Those tires you have on must hold more air or something? Or maybe I’m wrong. I think l need to add another psi or two so l don’t wear my treads out as fast. And yeah really nothing to it when doing the cutting eh. Thanks.
Mad Mudder I'm running like 13 lbs in the bkts. They measure out to be like 34 1/4. I ran more because the bike is so damn heavy. But they still ride good to have so much air.
kennorthstar1 Man tbh the shocks are fine. They were specifically made for the Highlifter edition. They are not made to have much travel. Granted if you have 1500 to blow elkas are fine. These shocks are made to not sag when in ruts.
Auldon Reeves ya your right. Just seems even crawling around hitting the odd bump it bottoms out hard making it a rough ride. Turned up the shock adjuster to see if it would make more difference other that the little lift and still rides rough
kennorthstar1 they really domt bottom out as much as you think. My shocks are turned up 3 clicks in the front and two in the back. It takes alot of force to bottom them out. Now if you jumping things or what not stock ones ain't for you. Granted with a mud bike the ride really isn't what your looking for. Ya know?
Auldon Reeves no lol no jumping it or hard trail riding at all. I’m 3 in the back and 2 in the front. Looking for another opinion on a smoother rider. Thanks for the info bro!
kennorthstar1 try scrambler shocks if you want more travel the highlifter shocks only have about 2 inches of travel vs the 6 inches of travel the scrambler has. Although unless you are running a 2 inch lift I wouldn’t recommend the scrambler shock for the simple fact of some serious rubbing
