This is the best highlight & contour video I have seen. You make it so much easier and it does look so much more natural than others I have seen. I am definitely going to try and use your method. I love it!!!
I love you highlight and contour. I use your tips everyday! I have really wanted to try the hourglass ambient lighting powders because you rave about them so much. I just ordered the hourglass palette on luvocracy because I was so excited to find it!
I agree with your thoughts on the difference between the Hourglass and NARS powders. I think the Hourglass powders are nice, but for a diffused look with a glow, NARS does a far superior job.
Nice routine, not a fan off the crazy highlighters with banana powder or white powder and super dark dramatic contour! Really nice and gradient effect you got!
Great video, I loved the colors you used, yes it looked very natural. I really want to copy this look! Thanks for the tips on the brushes.....and where to end the bronzer, I tend to go too big and then add blush on top, but like you said you just want to brighten a little with the blush. Thanks :)
Beautiful job! With all the layers of makeup, how do you prevent eroding a little at each layer? Seems like with all the brush work, a little bit of each layer can come off or maybe that's ok to blend everything together.
Loved this video Tiffany:) I always find your videos to be super helpful. Now I think iI have to go out and buy that hourglass ambient lighting powder! So gorgeous! Might put my own contour and highlighting video up on my channel too:)
Loved this video, Tiffany. I have been wanting that NARS light reflecting powder for a while! Thank you for sharing this video, very helpful! Much love from Canada! xo Laurie
Love this video, Tiffany! Very thorough, easy to follow, and on point as always! Your tips/tricks/guide on how to use products and suggestions will be very helpful!
Great tips. I'm older and I have a problem with bronzer. I hate when I have a line of dark. I watched a few videos on bronzers.they put a line of pretty dark bronzer on. It looks terrible on me. You seem to have the answer. Maybe older women shouldn't use bronzer?..I like the color and the way you applied it. Thanks
I wish I had those items already!!! My budget unfortunately doesn't stretch that far :-( would love some lest costly alternatives to the beautiful products you use
I love love your videos. They are very helpful. I know this is out of the topic but I wanted to ask you if you please can do a tutorial of drugstore brushes and I think I can speak for many girls who can't afford those pretty much better brushes but just expensive. Since you have a drugstore make up tutorial I think you can can make it possible for the brushes!!!! I will really apreciate it.
Why in the world do people comment such hateful things. Tiffany u look beautiful in every style and hair color I have seen u wear and your personality is awesome! Keep up the great tutorials! 😀
love it!!! i remember back in 2009 you used to use the mac select moisture cover concealer under your eyes and it that time i start to use it too along with all your recommendations¡!! sadly when i run out of it i forgot what shade it was that you used ( we are the same shade) i wonder if it's possible if you can tell me what shade was?? pleaseeee!!! thank you!! love youu!!
Great video! I'm on a budget, wondering what you think about using that wet n wild bronzer that looks like a subtle highlight in place of the nars powder? (think it's reserve yr cabana)
I always admire how your cheeks look in every video..its always so flawless...i think the chanel brush its a great tool..i wish i could get one...but i can't find it :( Do you have any hourglass blushes..??? they came out at sephora...but sold out! :(
Your makeup is beautiful. I love this video. However too much for but I am only 14. Lol still love all of your videos. I don't really use concealer but I do use bronzer and blush.
Thanks for this helpful video! Can you please do a Bridal look? I love how you truly want to help someone achieve the most flattering looks and I learn so much from you! It'd help me a lot if you did one :))
Very pretty..Lovely routine video....Always fu to see...my fav kind of videos...bacuase u can just do so much with darker and lighter shades...lots of love MIzzMadeUp
***** Loved this video, Tiffany! I definitely want to check out that Hourglass powder! Can you please do a makeup tutorial on your eyeshadow in this video? It's so pretty! :)
What are your thoughts on YSL's Touche Éclat Radiant Touch versus the MAC concealer you showed? I have the YSL product and feel it really settles into my fine lines.
Very helpful video, Tiffany. Thank you for explaining the highlight / contour process. I'm still kind of wondering about why people contour their jawline, though. If you have a chance would you please answer that question? Again, thanks for the video and have a wonderful day! :)
about "contouring" the jawline, I would only do that if you had a double chin, or a very wide face that you wanted to slim in some way. As for applying the bronzer there lightly, you can do that with a fluffy brush and sort of bring it down your neck lightly just to sort of balance everything if you've contoured your cheeks heavily. Just so it's not like bronzed on your face and then super pale in that area. Sometimes I just use what's left on the brush to sweep over it.
tiffany can u do some more eye makeup tutorials esp for a beginner like me please i really struggle with eye shadow. I love the look u have on for an everyday a tutorial would be great please
What is your opinion on that crazy light and dark contouring and that makeup style in general? I see all these makeup artists on Instagram with crazy crisp eyebrows and so much product on them and their clients faces. There is such a difference between you and them. I find you similar to Carmen dee from what not to wear. Minimal, natural and pretty!
It's totally a personal preference. The light and dark contouring- if you mean the technique where you use super light and dark products (the whole "kim k." method everyone sort of went crazy doing), it works! It looks good if done correctly. My method in this video is just more realistic for those of us who don't want to take an hour doing their makeup and add a million extra steps. For editorial purposes/ special occasions/photoshoots, that other method works. I just make my contouring more realistic for everyday, still getting similar results. The "crisp" eyebrows- they may photograph neat (sometimes) and look artistic, but they never look right in real life in my opinion. I just like a more defined, yet natural look.
Absolutely stunning! I will definitely try this technique (have the drugstore brightener on hand and typically use too faced chocolate soliei ?Sp? On hand). I found the scratch on your neck kinda funny....looks like a hickey (I'm 30 something so I've definitely had those assumptions haha) Keep up the good work....I just adore you
I always have such a hard time finding a good contour and highlight because I'm so pale :( I really want to try the Too Faced bronzer :3 Thanks for the video :D
A few ideas for contouring: MAC Taupe blush (not Taupe Shape, though that may work, too), MAC Omega e/s, Illamasqua Heroine e/s, OCC Creme Colour Concentrate in John Doe (for a cream option), Benefit Hoola (use a very fluffy brush, or take some off on the back of your hand first). For highlighting: Urban Decay Sin e/s, Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Pearl, MAC Cream Colour Base in Pearl or Luna (Pearl is white; Luna is slightly off-white), Makeup Geek Bling or Shimma Shimma e/s, Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Ethereal Light.
hi tiffany i love your videos! what foundation would you suggest for brides that have oily skin to wear on their wedding day that will last and look great in pictures?
i love how she was all about the sun bunny bronzer and i watched a rachel whitehurst video yesterday and she was like dont use sun bunny that will give you shimmery sideburns. LOLLLL
