The Chiefs survive a late charge from the courageous Brumbies to keep their home quarter-final hopes alive with a 24-19 victory in Hamilton. #CHIvBRU #SuperRugby #Week18 #ChiefsMana #BrumbiesTogether
Henry Speight, what a player. Cheika might have made a mistake not to take him for the series. It was a great battle, but the Brumbies can't be happy with this season. Way too much talent on that team to have their season over in one week.
That's why I wrote "might have". True, Speight was out of form in the 1st half of the season. But he picked it up in the 2nd and had been an absolute force before the June tests break and continues to be. I feel bad for him. He sacrificed a lot for Australian rugby, had offers from Europe, but refused those because he put the wallabies above himself.
Fabriccio Aballay si? Tenía entendidio que Brumbies no debía sumar ni siquiera un punto y consiguió el bonus? De todas formas los que deben ganar y jugar bien son los Jaguares, nadie va a jugar por ellos.
The Brumbies did great in the 2nd half (yellow card). But to late. Their season is over(SUPER CLOSE if things go in their way,get a bonus point win, and beat Rebels by differential they take that VERY RARE 8th spot) after 5 straight years of making it to the playoffs (2017 shouldn’t count. 6-9 was the best Aussie last season XD).
Typical.. An australian player requests that the ref check the last play's knock on, and he gets nothing. If it was a NZ player asking, they would've gotten their penalty and red card against an aussie. The ref gets on their knees for 'em
Mate that last call was critical, and all it took was to ask the TMO to have a check at it. If you actually watched the knock on, you'd see the chiefs player knocked the ball first
Mate you have to be kidding me. This game was reffed by a s.a ref? Btw this game is an 80 minute game not 10 or 20. That’s the problem bud. Australia can’t finish like these NZ teams. They got their points in early and had a momentum going for them. It was close but remember Australia had chances too.
