Federico Mazandarani Nah I disagree that's just the mainstream media talking on behalf of millions of separate different individual ideas about Iran. On a different perspective football has nothing whatsoever with political actions of a nation. Regardless of my view of Iranian policies the football team is very very good. I do happen to think Iran should have their nuclear programme but this is no reflection of their football skills.
+dan taylor Standard International Futsal Rules. Thats how it's always been. Same rules here in Australia, Singapore and Malaysia. I alternate between these countries.
+dan taylor In Futsal, unlike soccer, there are no off-side rules. In this case, it is like Basketball. Allows for fast breaks more often, big part of the game.I like the out-of-bounds kick-in rule,...no use of the hands. I think soccer should adopt this,...imagine in Basketball, they used feet to get the ball in! Also, : GK can only play the ball (by feet or hands) for 4 seconds in their own half. If they are in opponents half, they have no playing restrictions. Once the GK plays the ball, they cannot touch the ball a second time in their own half unless it has been touched by an opponent.(FIFA) Unlike soccer,...the 'possession game' style is out the window! for people who are saying about their scarf and hijab, they have to wear it other wise they havent permission to play in iranian national team, it means dictator of iran do not let them and its not in their hand to choose hijab or none hijab wear.
to all the people who are saying nasty stuff about their hijab:this brave women are fighting many restrictions that your little minds can’t even process.. the hijab in Iran is mandatary so It is not their choice to wear it or not..if you don’t know the situation just don’t send negative comments how hard is that?
As a hijabi girl l don't understand why people don't give respect to hijabees its just a piece of cloth but now a political thing l don't support forcing to wear hijab and same time not allowing to wear hijab.do all contries allow women to wear hijab in all feilds if they want to wear.l am wearing it's my choice.sick man wear turban people have no problem even in military they are allowed to wear it.
Guys, Iranian people are not the type of Muslim that you know, hey wear Hijab because government force it on them. otherwise 90 percent of Iranian women wouldn't wear Hijab. Look at before 1979 Iran(Persia). I have a Muslim colleague working with us, and he was shocked that during RAMADAN not one iranian was fasting. Do iranians fast? Yes. but the percentage is very very low.
