Keep the lightroom tutorials coming, please . I really benefit from them personally . As an enthusiastic amateur on a photography learning curve , I've devoured endless videos on exposure triangles , composition , etc. moved from a bridge camera to a dslr , progressed with that and moved to shooting raw , and mostly manual mode , or manual with auto iso , explored different genres from landscape , to long exposures , light trails etc , and now am devoting much more time to learning about editing , don't have a budget to purchase the photoshop or lightroom courses that some pros offer on their channels or websites , my limited budget is best spent on equipment . So I really appreciate the editing tutorials you put out and the fact that I don't have to pay for that knowledge . Thank you .

You make editing in LRC fun. Please keep the LRC editing tutorials coming. How about doing a LRC tutorial on photo stacking, please, both as a feature in some cameras ( Canon ), and stand alone in LRC. Thank you.

More lightroom tutorials please, it's the tone curve vs the sliders that confuses me most 🙂

Thanks a lot. I have finally understood the difference between those 2 sliders. By the way, your dog is lovely.

If you hold down the shift key whilst moving black and white slider this shows what parts of the image you clipping to true black and white ,almost like a peaking display showing as blue for black and red for whites .

As always, I love your tutorials. I’m improving on my use of Lightroom for editing photos. However, my organization of photos in Lightroom is a disaster. Somehow, I’m creating multiple catalogues and it’s as mess. I never click new catalogue so I have no idea why this is happening and how to fix what has become a total disorganized pile of photos. I’d love to see a tutorial on organizing your photos in Lightroom from how you import photos through to the end when they are done and your favorites selected and saved.

Really enjoy these weekly videos, can I suggest a show that concentrates on editing mobile phone pics? I find my pics from phone (Samsung S23Ultra) appears very over saturated, with a 'plastic' feel. I've seen IPhone pro pics and they're similar. How would LR or PS mobile deal with these? Thx, keep doing the quality of work you do! 😀

Good video as usual but you did leave out using the ALT key (Windows) in conjunction with the sliders. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Interesting but maybe 50% correct. I suggest you get yourself a grey scale and then try the different sliders and watch what happens with the histogram. Highlights and shadows will change the tone depending on what things are around it. If you have a 10 shade grey scale, the histogram shows very discrete 10 peaks, whites and blacks will move the peaks but highlights and shadows not only moves the peaks but also fattens them which means that for the same tone lightroom is doing different things.
