I was really concerned in the first 25 minutes or so of the game. After that though, they all gelled together. Some of those debuts were amazing as well. That Shepard lad reminds of Stonesy when he was playing for us. Chapman looks like a handy little player as well.
Luton's promotion demonstrates what Barnsley could have achieved if it wasn't for their mad moneyball nonsense. The Tykes made the play-offs the season before we did and could have built on that team as Luton did. Both clubs had similar budgets. Luton invested in making their team stronger, Barnsley sold their better players on.
The scoreline looks fake at first, but when you watch it, it shows how dominant Barnsley can be. This gives me hope for the 2023/24 season. COME ON YOU TYKES!

I couldn't be more proud of that bfc performances and attitude they showed yesterday afrer going 2-0 up and then going on to dominate the second half, absolutely amazing bfc.

😄😁Wow i don't know what to say , it's hard to find the words to describe that amazing performances from our bfc lads , i still feel as speechless now as i did watching it live at Oakwell next to my dad and the rest of our bfc fans around us 😝. What i will say is wow what a absolute Phenomenal, amazing , Sensational performances from the super reds. When we knocked them for 6 , i thought to myself and said to my dad , yeah that will more than do , i don't expect anything else from our bfc lads , but then to go 7 up and to still keep going is more than what i or anyone else could have asked for , i or no one else could ask for anymore from that bfc second half performance yesterday, it was incredible to watch ✊️✊️ 👏👌. The first 30 minutes or so it looked like they were on top of us , but soon as we got the 2-0 lead just before half time and then for both teams to come back out in second half where Barnsley outclassed port vale is everything i could only dream of happening and it actually happened getting 7 past them , especially on the first game of the season aswell 😲🤗😘🥰. Watch out bristol rovers , luke thomas and joey barton you are next. I am one very happy proud bfc fan. I am still pretty much speechless though. Thank you BFC for the outstanding performance you gave us bfc fans yesterday, I'm very proud of all of you at bfc 🙌. That might hopefully show the fans that didn't show up to support the super reds bfc yesterday to change their mind and renew their seasons tickets after yesterday's performance. Norwood who is he? @@tomfrumtarn We played them off the park twice last season, beat them home and away, but because they managed to scramble a winner with the last touch of a 120 minute game against 10 men at Wembley they're full of themselves. If I were them I'd be wondering why they were even in that match to begin with, what with blowing such a massive lead in the table, then going 5-1 down at Peterborough. An undeserved 1-0 extra win against 10 man Barnsley papers over no cracks. Nor does getting promoted. Hence sacking their manager.
