What a bloody awesome game

Never happy to lose but that was a pretty good performance from the Black ferns. If they could have converted one of their first half opportunities they might have put real pressure on the Roses. They were pretty underdone and the Roses had a tough game against France the week previous. Dont count your world cup horses just yet!

The woman's refs certainly makes the games flow . The men's refs ruin the flow of games . this game was exciting to watch

2 English tries look short of the line. In our day, we had to score over the line. The last try from no.9 was short, plus she lost the ball

If we had a fixture like the six nations in the southern hemisphere,we would be more lethal in test rugby ,Black ferns did well considering there last game was last October,that's what's failing the southern hemisphere country's ,there at a different level due to continuous test rugby

Black ferns are lacking real game breakers like Stacey waaka and Portia woodman, waaka would be awesome at 12 or 13 and to me Krystal Murray is still one of the best if not the best prop in nz not there why. Can't see this team beating England there front row and locks are just not gonna cut it with England

Ayesha needs to build on a kicking game, couple of little chips and chases would have made it interesting. maybe even the old swipers kick infield, she definitely turned the poms around.

Leti'iiga has lost a bit of her speed after her knee injury. Vahakolo still looks sharp. Belief won England the game.

I was just hoping we would try within 20 points. After 1st half I’m starting to think that was wishful thinking. Well in the end we did better than I hoped. So I’m happy we are getting better

I’m always amused by the colonial undertones of NZ teams that play at Twickers. I think it’s because they’re mainly Maori, whereas rugby is for posh, upper-class people in England. So, it’s got this whole ‘I say, Rupert… look how we colonised this country and taught the natives how to play rugger’ vibe to it ‘They can drive cars and read books too!’ The NZ Maori tours are even worse

The experiment with the new winger, did,nt work, We should have scored those wingers tries in the first half. That can put pressure on, and anything can happen after that. Also England scored down the flank on that side, when the New Zealand wing rased up for the intercept, leaving England players unmarked, result, try.

For decades New Zealand have been attempting to deconstruct rugby and try to force the international match into loose, fast, broken form. They absolutely thrive on this style of play but alas, have failed. Now they find themselves on the back foot and going backwards at a rapid rate on knots. The rest of the world has refused to go down that rabbit hole and have stuck to their guns mastering set pieces and learning their craft. Combine this with a falling player base and a governing body with heads in sand and it’s not hard to see a country scrambling, confused, frustrated with it’s own demise. New Zealand Rugby have for decades pushed the same barrow, refusing players to go overseas and earn good money. Their pitiful excuses are now melting in the sun. Worried it would ruin the domestic game and empty out the player base here, well ah……. After South Africa left, New Zealand has been void of any competition, games are a joke and viewership has tanked. Collapsing finances and clubs now nearing bankruptcy, rugby is in serious trouble. But NZ Rugby refuse to acknowledge it and refuse to change. New Zealand’s players have come up against a brick wall of professionalism with no money or ideas on how to fix it. I called this game a year ago nearly, when it was announced and stated we would never win as our forwards are too unfit, slow and weak. The men’s team have gone the same way, down……… Repeating the same thing and expecting a different result, well hello Homer Simpson.

WTF with this Ref. Blackferns on attack near England goal line , high tackle by England and Ref stops the game for yellow card, what ever happened to playing advantage ? Very poor form by Ref !

As usual nz woman over confident going there......saw it coming a mile away....though nz media fawning over their ability all week......realistically they were always going to get a beating.....without the lucky bounce would have been pretty embarrassing. Just not as good as they think.....and unfortunately taking resources away from the mens game....diluting the product in nz.....and this is shown in the crowd attendances / numbers at npc and super rugby. But nz rugby just dont have the resources England do or now will ever have.
