There is only 1 pro soccer team in Ottawa and it’s generous to call it a pro team. If you need to take a job in the off-season, you’re not a professional. They earn less than CFL players.
@@noellyp9767 I was referring to previous incarnations of the Ottawa pro soccer teams... going back to Capital City FC. Their defense was much better last year and in previous years, nothing to do with the level of soccer because other teams in the league defend much better. Where you can really tell the difference in semi-pro, pro and elite is in the finishing and the pace of the game. Defensive tactics can be coached.
i did not see anything wrong with it at all. The lad was not restricting ottowa's keeper from getting to that shot. keepers seem to be getting way overprotected by referees these past couple of years.
Its a North American thing. Barely see that kind on nonsense in Europe or South America. It is what it is but like most of the supporter groups in North America its cringey as hell. Really excited about this league and its future but I pray to god the support becomes much better.
