I know the sequence of highlights is barbaric I do have to say, but what about the quality of golf that’s just taken place over the 3 days, I mean seriously seriously good old chaps
The golf is high quality no doubt but the only drama is manufactured drama (golfers and caddys fighting) etc. The result is known beforehand. The Ryder Cup is now a blowout victory for the home team every time.
My country finds newer and bolder ways to embarrass itself on a daily basis. Leaving politics aside, just in sports the US failed to win a basketball world cup, world baseball classic and now get absolutely spanked in the Ryder cup. This is truly a low water mark for US golf talent. At least we don't have to listen to that ugly fatass moaning cheater being called "Captain America" anymore.
@vincesteer7960 fool. You would've picked Westwood, Poulter and Garcia ahead of those two? You need your head examined. Or maybe you're just not a golfer, in which case, I apologize
Lots are complaining about this "highlights" video and rightly so. However just as bad if not worse was the "live" state of play on their website yesterday. They were miles behind in updating the scoring, maybe 10-15 minutes late which is shockingly bad. I'm no fan of the BBC but their website was able to give live reporting and up to the minute scores. There were literally millions of people who couldn't watch for one reason or another, and for the official website for the competition to be so poor in their editing and reporting is a disgrace.
Seeing the European team together looks like a party in someone's back yard where a bunch of guys who truly care about each other and love each other's company are getting together having fun and also welcoming some new people to the party and making them fit right in. The American team looks like a bunch of no personalities guys at a corporate party tolerating each other not really trying to get close with anyone or make new friends. They are wondering how long I have to stay at the party and are far to cool to kick back and go out of their comfort zone and have fun
Lol good point I would have saved myself a lot of typing and thought ha. I swear it was like watching a bunch of competitive Men vs a group of guys who looked like they were having a 15 year reunion of the college debate team. America needs to get some aggressive, feisty, expressive golfers can the whole shucks darn type attitude. I think they need Tiger to come in and straighten some stuff up.
I was not really sure why everyone was complaining about how everything was edited. Now I saw the hole video I appreciate, that showing the matches one after another, without considering the score was a pretty bad decision
If the decision is not to pay the players for doing an outstanding job, why not also make the rydercup livestream free on youtube? With the advertising alone you might even be able to pay an editor to make the highlights in order of play, to relive this great event.
Don't suppose it's too much to ask to have the shots in order, to show how the day went? I thought this footage would be better than Sky's abysmal coverage, but it's even worse. There's probably some footage on YT from a guy who was there and filmed it on his phone while running from hole to hole, which I'll probably end up watching rather than this.
Not the best coverage here , whenever the ball lands on the fairwsy or green yhe camera fails to zoom in , we have a 56 inch tv but can't see yhe ball , and the same boring ads over and over
I mean...Tiger is great, I got it. Goat material. But in Ryder Cup, Tiger was awful 95% of the time. His record is probably the worst ever, in terms of % for a big star. Or even for a role player in the team. 13w, 21L, 3 a/s.
@@aha3885 aha3885, Sorry for this late response, I am grateful to have somebody like you answer my comments. I agree, Tiger is the best Ryder Cup player of all time. He played a big role for his team. I'm glad the US won! Sincerely, Golf Goodies
To be honest for such an important event like this you should really have proper editing for the highlights... Luckily I watched every match otherwise I have no idea what was going on. Try to learn the skills from the PGA and DP world tour and make proper videos next time...
Was hoping to see a glimpse of how HOMA managed to clinch a point for Team USA at the last hole, kinda one sided showing of celebratory moments.. what a shame
what an up-and-down day..... europeans got to 14 points, but then americans knocked it back to 10 1/2 !!!! wow just wow (Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahaha!!!) maybe its the same folks who worked the VAR that put together these highlights!!!
These "highlight" postings, as with the LPGA, are a disgrace to the sport----somebody in charge needs to wake up and give us a product that reflects the greatness of the game.
The US players made it all political. Can’t win if it’s a boys trip and someone is protesting not getting paid. Europe played to win, and they deserved to win the Ryder Cup this year.
It's all down to conditions. Play it in the USA and they'll win it. Home advantage is pretty enormous in it. Don't imagine America will win it in Europe again in my lifetime and I'm 43.
@@sean_43I mean the last past 10 cups Europe have won 7, us have won 3 all at home, meanwhile Europe beat us in the us 2 times, us haven't won it in Europe since 1993, how embarrassing 🤣
Europe has 9000 golf courses total and US has 16000 so that argument is bullshit. Golf is a game only for elites in Europe complete with literal gatekeeping. I tried to play at a shitty little course in rural Germany once and they wouldn't even let me play because I didn't have a handicap card. That excuse doesn't fly. The US should be whipping Europe no matter where they play. @@CairnsMotorhomes
Honestly baffles me that someone was actually paid to edit this together and likely has a career in the profession. Do people just take zero pride in their work anymore? Did you really just crap out a load of clips in any order completely neglecting the tale of the day and the competition? What a load of rubbish.
This is the worst picture edit story line I have ever seen....Surely the clips should show the story unfolding and reflect the actual scores that you are looking at clip by clip. Jumping from one out of sequence clip to another was a disgrace and reflects the lack of understanding of those who undertook this work......The person who signed this off as acceptable for viewing should be dismissed as they clearly have no understanding of the game and how the event reaches its conclusion.
What the actual hell was that!? I've never seen such a shockingly bad highlights package. How can you not see the need to put the shots in sequential order? I gave up. For a sport that has sold it's soul to tv money though this sort of incompetence and indifference is hardly a surprise.
Worst highlights reel I have ever had the misfortune to see. Off after 30seconds. With the money that's made from this event maybe use the players fee to employ someone to do the job on highlights..
