A strong result. Barnsley’s failure to even get a point from their five games against teams in the current top ten suggest they aren’t as good as their current position suggests, but the way we controlled the game against a decent side at this level is positive. And, of course, back to back league wins at last!
100% man this is an England RU-vid Channel but I support derby and in my opinion that was the best Saturday so far this season! And hope for many more COYR🙌🖤🐏
A lot of teams have trouble against top teams. It's normal. Time to worry is when you fail to beat teams like Cheltenham and Shrewsbury. Onwards and upwards. I still feel if us Rams go on a good run and get some continuity and momentum going there is no reason why we can't get promoted automatically. Good result today. Keep it up. COYR 🎉😊
The good thing we have is that everyone up top chips in, waggy comes in and in 3 games scored 5 Collins came back in the other month and scored 3 wash in scored 2 collo back in scored 2
Agreed. Pleased to see him prove his doubters wrong. Always puts 100% in whether on the ball or off it. You could tell by his reaction to the South stand he is really up for it.
I think he has been very poor till recently but his heart is in it and he is bang in form now and confidence is food for strikers. I do hope his form continues. Obviously he has a great track record with other teams like Cardiff but he is only just starting to show that quality now.
The whole back line was immense yesterday hardly lost a dual all day and Nelson and cashin gave Cole nothing, happy that collo scored it’s nice to see how all our strikers are chipping in collo 7 waggy 6 wash 3, I could easily see them all finishing on double figures which would set us up in a great position
Job done professionally and deserved the win and the clean sheet, keep the momentum going and we'll secure at least one of the playoff spots for grab. Glad Collins utilising his opportunity to start the game in the absence of Washington and Waghorn. Now Collins deserve the starting line-up spot if he keeps scoring instead of missing sitters. This win against Barnsley due to tactically 100% spot on, it's a well planned game plan from Mr Warne, I'll call it a masterclass. Have we seen Wildsmith took a free kick in opponent's half and the route is the same, a Cashin knock down to Forsyth to shoot?
"The tiniest of touches" ... certainly was, poor penalty decision but we have had shockers given against us, so what goes around ... A good win. We didn't threaten much in first half. Second half very good, especially from the set pieces. A
Definite penalty and we have had some absolute shockers given against us so ill take it even if it was "soft". As for the goals being rubbish, it doesn't matter whether it's stuck in the top corner from 25 yards or bundled over the line with collins' chest, they all count the same. We could easily have had 2 more as well. Great day at rhe office.
