Not really actually. If u follow Mourinho closely enough, his teams are compact at the back. U look to his title winning teams with chelsea particularly, he has a strong backline which he doesnt have at spurs. The game against everton was purely individual errors. I think the manager knows this and plays mostly defensive but spurs over reliance on kane and son doesnt help matters as well.

yeah but whether you play attacking or defensive football, it makes no difference when you have those individual mistakes. Clearly we've been playing too negative and defensive and it hasn't worked in recent months so we may as well go out attacking to try and out score the opponents

@@jxde158 Its a squad in dire need of a shake up. There’s so much the manager can do if there isnt a sizeable investment on the team. On paper its still a decent team but individual errors are costing the team valuable points and victories. A new RB and center half should beef up that defense. Going forward they also do need another striker as kane is the only proven goalscorer in the team. Need more depth in that department.

Alderweireld is a reason why we don't concede this much every game. Among other things, he produces at least one shot on target block each game, sometimes making 3 or 4.

Tottenham played well in the 1st half, missed alot of chances which if Kane started he could have scored to kill the game. But in all beautiful competitive game and this is what English league stands for, i believe Jose is a good coach looking at how he has build Spurs team. I believe Jose needs to sign 2 solid midfielders, 2 solid center back and 2 attackers and Spurs team will be unstoppable.

The fans deserve the blame 1000% for this loss. The fans moans so much for us being too defensive and they want them too attack more( that's what all Spurs want so much). And guess what happened then. This game has no positivity and fans sometimes need to shut up and stop moaning and let them play the Jose's way. As a Spurs fan, i'm disappointed of the fan that moans so much.
