You can tell Fan really got up for this match. Lin actually played quite well. Great match. Fan will probably win 3 worlds and 1-2 olympics along many other titles by the time he's done. He was already so close to having 2 worlds. It's going to be tough for many in his generation to win much, although he can still lose at times if someone is on fire and he's a bit sluggish or off that day.

After that first game, Lin played the way he should more often, get aggressive. He was never going to win as his excellent serves that give people problems are completely neutralized by Fan. We got some entertainment as he managed to prolong the match a bit longer. Fan is really nearly unbeatable

This Lin Yun-Ju is not as good as him in the Tokyo Olympics. That Semifinal matchup against Fan Zhendong was epic!

Tout simplement injouable Fan, il est fait pour ça, son bloque revers est incroyable de timing, peut importe la vitesse, ça revient deux fois plus vite, on dirait qu’il a un anti top tellement il excelle dans ce domaine parmi tant d’autre, actuellement, il y a fan & le reste

FZD just knows where to be and why. it is like computer doing predefined steps based on exact state of the game. this must be learned, studied and understood.. This is where europe lacks. any question, why I should do this, when we do analysis is answered by IDK. just train to be good player. this is wrong! there is always a reason we as coaches must be able to verbalise.
