@@sowaveysuyat he probably meant to invite a lot of people to watch the most interesting games in York's case, it would be like the 905 Derby against Forge or the matchup against Ottawa for an Ontarian rivalry ^^
The Forge FC game with my school was electric! The atmosphere crackled with energy from the moment we walked in. Although, I gotta say, the food line was something else entirely. It seemed to stretch all the way around the stadium, a true test of our dedication to Forge FC (and maybe a little bit to hunger). But hey, at least it gave us some time to work up our cheers! Once the game started, the wait was forgotten. It was a nail-biter from the beginning, a tight game with both teams going back and forth. The final whistle blew with a score of 1-1 - a close call, but an exciting match nonetheless. Here's hoping Forge FC dominates next time! School trip rematch next year? Absolutely, as long as we can devise a strategy to conquer that legendary food line!
Brilliant idea to have this game early and get local schools to attend. Toronto FC should do the same. They really alienate their young fans with 7:30pm games because of MLS’s-Apple TV’s stupid streaming rights.
The TFC game was still 7:00pm start even though it was a One Soccer broadcast. I’m not sure the late starts are all Apple/MLS. I think MLSE prefers the late starts.
