Meghan Medendorp well I mean I have a band director, an assistant band director, a percussion teacher, and a tech percussion teacher. Oh and we have our color guard choreographer who we share with a bunch of other schools. I’m not in that band anymore. I don’t even know why we need so many people helping. We got a new teacher that no one likes. He made us miss state and be the last in concert band. More than 75% of us quit from the last teacher to this teacher including me. There’s like 40 students now and a few others who are not in band due to COVID. There used to be 150 of them the year before I was going to join. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
I still love this the only questionable this is the transition from lost in the woods and show yourself wasn’t the bast. It needed a a symbol roll. And more solos
The RMS honor band just played this and the mandolorian for our spring concert and it was SO AWESOME!!!! We all had so much fun performing this arrangement! I 100% recommend it for any middle school band!!!! (even though I'm 13 and vastly under qualified to recommend music lol)
That part in show yourself (5:19) where the trumpet doesn’t go up really high on that one notes upsets me, yet I know it’s unrealistic for the trumpets to hit that note. Should’ve had clarinets or flutes shadowing the trumpet there maybe and playing the high note, idk. Or maybe I’m just thinking of the wrong part of the song.
No, you aren't. The majority of Bb trumpet sheet music stays on the staff. The lowest and highest notes on trumpet are only a few lines below/above the staff, respectively.
it's not possible though since it's notorious for its poor range. Most of Bb trumpet sheet music stays on the staff for that reason. It's total range is less than 3 octaves.
