As someone who has been an Inter Miami fan for around 11 days now. I can't say how happy I am that Messi has joined. He really is a generational talent.
@@kingoverflow Messi is literally the greatest playmaker and dribbler of all time. The only comparable attribute Ronaldo has to messi is goalscoring. Messi has a better goal to game ratio and has better shot percentage
@@LouieOcean2 I have no idea what G league is but what I mean is that I hope Messi's signing creates a snowball effect in football in states, more quality players joining, more viewers, more "hype" in a longer time line
It's clear for everyone that Busquets and Messi are way way above the average of the MLS. They're two of the best players in the world, they only reason they're not playing in Europe is because they're getting old. But the quality is still there.
G.O.A.T. You can feel the change in mindset of the Miami players. It's a winning mindset just because of the introduction of a brilliant and humble player - Messi
Why is everyone losing their minds? Its mls, worst than a farmers league. Its even worse than the camel league. Messi should be ashamed hes not scoring 5 goals a game!
I'm so happy for Messi and for the MLS he looks like he's happy and they look like they love him. If any player could show a nation why football is so loved globally, I think Messi is the man to do it!
Why is everyone losing their minds? Its mls, worst than a farmers league. Its even worse than the camel league. Messi should be ashamed hes not scoring 5 goals a game!
As an American I was never really into Football/Soccer considering it isn’t popular here, but man has Messi made rifts in America and made it exciting to watch the worlds most popular sport!
@ErwinRoossien The way the other guys are starting to combine, looking for outlets in Busi and Leo with just 3 or 4 training sessions is a little impressive to me, ngl, considering how they were dead last in the League.
The impact of Lionel Messi on Inter Miami is surreal. He not only scores and assists the team but also instills a winner's mentality in a team that was winless for 13 matches.🐐
Can we just appreciate the fact that Robert Taylor has as many goals and assists in the last 2 games (3G1A) as Messi (3G1A) Taylor has been playing pretty well as well. And Messi is just Messi. Also that pass from Busquets to Messi for the first goal was ridiculously smooth. I can't stop rewatching that.
Messi makes everyone around him better, always. He's selfless and doesn't mind passing and he always gives the most perfect assists. As a number 9 player when you play with a 10 that understands you and seeks you as much as Messi does it's a pleasure. I bet Taylor is so thankful right now. Martinez also had a chance but he wasted it
@@jason854656 He is taking retirement, but still wants to play for fun. I mean if someone moves to USA, it is to settle for longer terms. USA has an Argentine population too. And ofc the money will keep coming. However, very few players take the retirement league by storm either. It might be easier, but not every player coming to MLS make a name for themselves. Look at Rooney, Insigne, Shaqiri
You can tell Messi is happier here than in PSG, the impact he has on the game is insane, not just for the plays he does, but for the effect he has on his teammates, everyone wants to show off by the GOAT’S side. 💪👏
@@Knys the thing is PSG fans were never happy with him, neither the French press. Here in the US they treat him the right way you should treat a GOAT. Also he’s not competing anymore, this is like backyard football for him. No offenses. 👍
even an unhappy Messi scores 30 goals in MLS man.... he would have to be 50 years old and a wooden leg for that not to happen anymore 😂 even my grandmother scores in MLS...
Messi at Barca stunned me and the rest of the world as we watched the GOAT emerge. Messi at PSG made me sad leaving Barca and being treated how he was by the French. Messi at Miami reunited with Busi, scoring goals, having fun, and loved by the fans makes me happy.
Leaving Braca, in my opinion, helped him mature as a person. As a footballer he was always great but he grew as a leader and as a person after leaving Barca. His world cup win couldn't have been possible if he stayed at barca
MLS has just never seen anything like this before. With all due respect to the DP MLS teams usually sign getting a guy like Messi just changes the game entirely. The man plays on an entirely different intellectual and talent level plane than anyone else MLS has or ever will have. The angles the timing the knowledge of setup play it’s just truly art at its most beautiful form. It’s a lot like a bunch of super talented artists back in the day competing for a award and Picasso or Leonardo Da Vinci walks in the room. Suddenly all those stars dim to nothing in the presence of a master. MLS now stands for Messi League Soccer
Why is everyone losing their minds? Its mls, worst than a farmers league. Its even worse than the camel league. Messi should be ashamed hes not scoring 5 goals a game!
@@emreturk68yes that is true, but unlike the camel league that's just a retirement plan, the farmers league actually has people willing to spend money to build an actually competitive league. American sport culture is crazy, we produce so many top tier athletes across most sports, and a large incentive to do are the leagues and the markets they support. if the American soccer market develops, there's a pretty solid chance it'll develop into a decent league.
I like Messi and I am glad he seems to be fitting in well. But, lets face it. This is like him playing in a school competition when you look at his level. This is a league in a country where soccer is not even one of the top followed sports. In fact, it is 6th in terms of most followed sports according to some poll I saw.
You can see the confidence this team has now . Before they were playing like it’s their last game but now their playing like they’ve been dominating this league for years
Confidence he plays in a literal country that calls the sport soccer and can’t even try to pass round of 16 in the World Cup this a worse than a farmers league so he would obviously shine that’s why he left Europe to go to a easier league
@@kingoverflow who gives a sht what we call the sport? when will y'all stop crying about that? the usa squad did poorly in the last WC because of horrible tactics from GGG, not because of a lack of talent. Some of you football fans have a hard-on for hating I swear lol
Man it's just so awesome seeing Messi happy. No one deserves the money and peace more than him. Such a legend and we are thankful here in the US to get to watch him play here. True GOAT.
The impact Messi has had on this young Miami club is remarkable. They’ve found their confidence and now showing their talent. And doing all of this within 5 days plus with multiple starters out due to season ending injuries.
Compare this to Zlatan's impact in LA. His arrival made LA better, but you could sense the tension as the other players didn't want to catch the wrath of Zlatan. You're right that this Miami team is flowing and confident with Messi around. Busquets is a major part of that too.
Even our local team will start winning big tournaments if messi comes to our team.(although it's not possible) He brings aura with him ,he Will automatically lift anyone's confidence in this planet.
Exactly...with Messi the team must play for him. Argentina had many great players and couldn't win anything, until recently when they brought on young aggressive guys who worked hard for Messi. Alvarez, Enzo, McAllister, DePaul, Tagluafico.....these guys came to run all over the pitch for Messi. This allowed Messi to create and score and assist. If Inter Miami is smart, they will mimic the same thing. So far, they doing well.
@@OSEseanah yes saying what are you looking at to s guy giving you death stare and doing a celebration to van gaal to honour your former teammate who'd been shunned by him is arrogant
Imagine being honored to live in another man's life. Seriously as much as I love messi, I have to say, have some pride in yourself man. Be honored to be born in your era, not another man's era. Sure Messi is doing great things, what are you doing? Sitting down and watching another man do great things? That's sad.

What really differentiates Leo from all the other great footballers is how much he makes his teammates better. He has mystic aura that increases the level of play of the teammates near him by at least 50% 😁
Es normal Messi es un 10 y arma las jugadas, lo cual ayuda a los demás jugadores a sentirse más cómodos y poder ser más eficientes en sus respectivas posiciones en el campo.
So happy for Messi. The guy wasn't going 100% in Paris but the fans were so stupid to him. He's the best player of all times, even now he is in the top 5. He deserves recognition, respect and fun.

That's just not true. When Messi was introduced to the fans two years ago, he was treated like the superstar he was and the fans were crazy about him. Then they saw him play... and walk through every game and they start to wonder if he was still the player he used to be. At the start of his second season, things started to evolve in a good way. Neymar and him made a spectacular start in the 2022-2023 Ligue 1 season. But some started to think that they just prepaed themselves very well for the World Cup and the PSG was not their main purpose. And guess what happened after the World Cup, they were nowhere... Neymar got injured (again...) and Messi walked. Maybe PSG fans should have treated him better, but maybe he should have treated them better too. But these two years in Paris won't earased the fact that he was certainly the GOAT.
