Peyton knew the concept of team, he threw to open man and didn't try to play favorites. I wish Wilson will look to all his WR's instead of trying to make one WR a superstar. Please throw to the open man and stop playing favorites. We all don't like when leaders play favorites it messes up the team concept and chemistry. It's no wonder why the offense doesn't click.
I read this a lot everywhere from fans but I think people dont understand that the reason why he has looked for courtland sutton so much is because he has actually been able to catch the ball and not drop it. It is true though that they need to build chemistry but fans need to stop hating so much on russ. Its only 5 games in and this team will get better and when it does it will be deadly. Russ receives so much hate even though he is a HOF qb and people will see it soon
i remember watching this game with my dad on a sunday night when i should have been in bed. such an amazing memory having to keep our voices down when cheering as to not wake up my mom!
What an amazing comeback. Back when this game aired I was working at a movie theater, and I had to work the night this game aired so I was super bummed I couldn't watch it. I was able to watch the last quarter and a half on my "lunch" break at a restaurant nearby, and I went back to work super happy being able to experience the comeback.
I remember this game, it's do nostalgic. I work working. I took my lunch break and walked next door to get food and this game was on. I remember Peyton jumping over a defender and hitting a buge 3rd down. I stayed 30min past lunch to finish the game.
I bet if Peyton was playing with this current team they would be undefeated right now. Peyton would've wave off Hackett 64 yard attempt and went for it. This team is so depressing that we have to go back and watch Peyton Manning's highlight. It's depressing how Denver is one of the worst red zone offense with a super bowl winning QB like Russell Wilson. In fact if you were to put Peyton on Wilson's Seattle team during the LOB days. He would probably win 3 straight SB. No way he would've thrown the 2nd super bowl away with a defense that great especially in his prime and with just one yard to win it.
It's not fair to go from Peyton to what we have had the last 7 years. Should have traded everything away after super bowl and had a wealth of picks for the next decade of winning.
Terrible coaching hires after Kubiak is why we're bad. The only good coach we have is Bill Kolar, the DL coach, and he's been the DL coach since the Manning era.
1. Russell Wilson ain’t Peyton Manning. For god’s sake please stop the comparison. It’s a huge disrespect to Peyton. I love the optimism in the comparison but Russ isn’t 1% close to what Peyton was. 2. Justin Herbert (even with injury far bigger than Russ’s) is not crybaby like Phillip Rivers to throw those many interceptions in the second half to give Broncos those chances to come from behind. Sorry to be a spoilsport but there’s no ride and there’s no comeback. Thank me later!
Amen brother. As fun as it is to dream because of how similar the scenario is this year vs. 2012., this year year will NOT end like 2012 did. Russ is not that guy and this team just isn't on this level. God Bless Peyton Manning because without him, this team would have been a dumpster fire for 20+ years now.
Guess what We need will fuller john ross and kevin king from free agency Hinton and Cleveland aren't doing the job, cut gordon and sign jordan Howard he's a free agent, play jalen virgil and Montreal Washington and demari Mathis more
Hinton is actually pretty good in critical situations. I say keep him and trade Jerry Jeudy for some draft capitol. But yeah, we should be playing Virgil and Washington more. You are right about Cleveland.
