Looking at this clip through modern eyes its hard to believe most people had no idea George Michael was gay.

How did anyone ever think George Michael was straight?! Or Cliff Richard for that matter.

I think that moving the Wogan show from weekend to three times week days was a mistake. It was probably part of a wider strategy or reaction against rival programming by the BBC, but it took Wogan out of his best broadcasting situation and spread him too thin and the dynamics of the show changed for the worse. There were few TV and radio personalities who could match him at his deceptively laid back and engaging best.

This comment sections horrible. It's really stupid of people to disrespect Wogan on a video thats paying tribute to him . Honestly people act your age!

To be fair, I don't think Christ was the son of god either. But I understand why he had to make this 'stunt' to the media, to get the attention going. And look at him now, he's been vindicated and has a lot of credibility
