He came wayy up and leary was coming down. With the way robert was coming up he wouldve had nowhere to go other than into the wall or stay on his line. The bacon wreck already had everyone pissed because that one was pretty obvious. I wouldnt say robert wrecked leary on purpose, he just got super sloppy
Wow! I didn’t know that about Bollou! Hmm! I was a big fan of him when he first showed up over here in Indiana and I am not a hater but DAM! And it being a little ruff in some spots probably didn’t help either but I love Gas City and Very congrats to the throttle! He is tough there and pretty much everywhere
Ballou was racing like a dìckbag, but then after CJ Leary went over and kicked him while he was still strapped in the car, I was kinda rooting for Ballou after that. Rub it in CJ's face a bit. Sure it didn't turn out that way... but it could've.
Yep.. Bacon would have a legitimate gripe.. They were side by side the whole back stretch until Ballou squeezed him. Leary did that to himself trying to regain position. If Robert would have been 3 inches higher, Leary would have hit him with the left front instead of the left rear..
I can honestly say I never seen a track that rough (not sure if rough is the right word.. Bouncey? ¯\(°_o)/¯) produce such great racing. It seemed to give the cars some bite. Weird. Too bad for them wrecks hate to see that for Bacon and Leary.
oh that was some drama from cj dang, the win though by the floorlayer by day racer by night shane cottle, says hes from ill, but his stats say hes from kokomo indiana but a surprising win from behind, though grant had this one, would have loved to be there but went to the vogaler the night before and that did not disappoint either, all the vintage cars and the silver crowns using every bit of that banking some of the laps were under 15 meaning that swanson was doing faster then 140 on the track that lap but this seemed like a wild night
Ballou might have ran Brady up the track, but in the leary incident he did nothing wrong, he left the top open. Leary drove down the center and right over a right rear.
He went from the inside line straight to the outside line coming out of turn 4 lol. If he wasnt blind in his right eye lol. Leary was coming down but he had nowhere to go other than the wall with the way ballou came out of turn 4. slam a wall or hold your line thats racing. I wouldnt say it was intentional but it was sloppy af and it caused a wreck
Everyone keeps saying leary drove down on robert, which is true. But his line was still on the outside of the track....ballou was on the inside edge, lost it in the turn, got sloppy af and was going all the way to the outside right out of turn 4. He got sloppy and cut learys line off. Either leary was going to crash into him or the wall because of how much ballou slowed down in the turn from bouncing through it.
Look at the video, when robert hits him, leary is well in front, he never passed him, he was trying to and wrecked him in the process in a sloppy failed attempt, after he purposely wrecked bacon for passing him....i want the nos car to win. Congrats to 74x for sneaking in there 🤣🤣👏👏👏 thats racing. Was a great night all together
The track was horrible. UDAC had them keep adding water. The clay at GCS does not react like other tracks. All they were doing was making the top few inches break loose and peel off!
Ballou was a Scud Missile as usual BUT what Leary did was way out of bounds. Kicking a person while they are strapped in a car twice is a punk move. USAC needs to suspend him for his actions. Kids in the stands saw that disgraceful clown act.
Ya personally I thought it was pretty funny. And what he did was ok yes could he have went over and talked yes but he deserved the kick. He hit a lot of people last night.
He's their golden boy. There will be no penalty. A few years ago they suspended Ballou for some comments on social media. Actions are not louder than words in USAC
Leary was well in front before the turn, ballou tried to force his way past leary well in front of him during a turn, by going inside to outside and cutting in front of him, that would be racing if he completed the attempt. He did not, he crashed into the other car who he barely got beside of, never got in front of and crashed right into, in the failed attempt to pass. Oddly enough the same had just happend to brady bacon...he passed ballou, ballou got pissed and instead of waiting for an opportunity or waiting for the turn he just ran into him and ran him off the track 🤣🤣👏 Of course he probably couldve drove a little better if he wasnt blind is his right eye.........🤣🤣🤣🤣👏👏👏
dont know what dude so pissed about he got outta the groove and cut back across the track instead of keeping it in the outside lane ... his own dam fault.
