I love soccer (football) and never really gave the MLS much thought even though I'm American, but Messi is such a joy to watch. I get that part of it is probably the level of competition he is up against, but I'm glad he has raised so much awareness for the sport in the US. MLS is way behind European leagues in terms of intensity, physicality, tactical approach, pace of the game, skills and much more but I have to admit the enthusiasm for the sport is there, the fans are really active and supportive... They'll have to liberalise a little to attract foreign players to MLS ahead of other money rich leagues like Saudi... With right training for budding players and more accessible (cheaper) academies they can reach there in a decade or so... I hope they do.

Miami's passing is soooo much quicker and accurate too, and their shots are a lot more first time redirects giving no time to adjust, having said that, Charlotte gave them waaay too much time to set up and pick their targets, they needed to force them to pass before they wanted to even if it was more risky and that didn't happen.

He looks happier here compare to previous one with too much pressure. He is playing beautiful football again now.
