What is wrong with Ireland? Can´t beat Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Finland or even Luxemburg? Last 14-15 competitive matches (qualifiers&nations league) only one win and against Andorra. The squad is not bad tbh
Ireland has great potential. They have so many class young players coming through now. It could be a golden generation.they style of play really suits them as well. They pass now. Teams are starting to to take notice of them.
The main problem with national team here in Serbia is the defense in the last few years, 6 goals conceded in the last 4 games already, it's a team that only knows how to attack.
Delaneys legacy is apparent with the 10 years of no underage coaching structures were removed under Delaneys regime and we seen the final effects on the pitch.

@@loifan4599 LOI clubs and fans disliked Delaney and was well known by fans of all league of Ireland clubs the various Delaney chants and the tennis balls onto the pitch at Landsdowne Road.
This has been coming for a long time. Don’t act as if it would have been a different result MON tried to play the way this team plays. I’m not trying to paint a perfect picture, we should have picked up points at this stage but you can’t say we haven’t been unlucky. I have no bias towards Stephen Kenny. I don’t watch the LOI. I do know however, that this Irish team has created more chances in these 15 or so games than any of the previous managers and you can see there’s a plan. I’m willing to take 2 years of rebuilding if it means recreation. You also can’t deny the results seem to be getting better, even from the Luxembourg defeat.
@@finqimalo4541 When you think about it, it was pretty brilliant. It did exactly what it said on the tin. That’s exactly why it was so horrible to watch, you knew before the match even started that the only way we were winning was going to be from pure luck and some good defending. I love getting excited when we get a chance and that’s what this more open style brings, only probably is nothing is going in the net😂 we’ll get it right tho no stress Kenny is the man for it
Corrupt fa taking money for years instead of putting it into Irish football, 80% of fans are only pretend so they have something to talk about in work, very few real football people in Ireland.
Roy Curtis in The Sunday World Really mocked Kenny after his 11th Competitive match without a Victory. Ireland won't win a single match in this 8 match qualifying group with 4 winless games gone so far. I expect Roy Curtis to roast Kenny in next week's edition of the Sunday World after Ireland stretch their winless run to 12 under the hapless and hopeless Kenny.

Unlucky Ireland. Should have won that by 4 or 5. Anyone saying any different after watching these highlights is biased. Better times ahead if we keep playing like this. So much better to watch than hoof ball.
Saying they "should have won that by 4 or 5" ignores the responsibility the forwards (or anyone shooting or heading for goal) have for actually finishing the ball. If the goalkeeping, defense, and build up are good but a team doesn't finish well, then maybe they shouldn't win by 4 or 5.
@@TheEyeball37 True, hopefully as Idah, Connolly and Parrott mature they will develop a nack for putting it in the net. Not happening at the moment. And hopefully there is a creative midfielder coming through the ranks. We are very short in CM.
