Trying to beat the All blacks in New Zealand is like trying to beat Clark Kent under a red sun. Their home crowd rejuvenates them and gives them 10% performance buff. Every time the Springboks or the Wallabies have wounded them abroad, they've retreated home behind the high walls of Aotearoa and waited. I've watched decades worth of bledisloe dreams and tri nations dreams go there to die, I've listened to endless hours of player interviews determined to gain victory in New Zealand, and yet I've only ever seen it 2 or 3 times in the last 20 years (France 2009 and Springboks 2009). What Ireland has achieved is unbelievable, beating them twice on home soil. Certainly the worlds best team right now. You guys have shown the world that New Zealand are not invincible, and they are very beatable.
I have to say, as a Scotsman, this makes me incredibly worried for the World Cup next year, but a huge congratulations to Ireland. A series win in New Zealand is epic. Only 3 teams have done it before (South Africa 1937, The B&I Lions 1971 and France 1994). Ireland are part of a very special club , well done !!!! Its great for the game having three test match tours again.

I can imagine nothing worse than the NH having a cleansweep of series against SH. This will make the RC interesting considering that all teams will have just come from series defeats and looking to get things right.

A glorious day for Ireland and for NH rugby. I hope England Wales and our Scottish cousins can repeat last week's statement of NH progress. Todays victory brought tears to a 67 year old man who can believe we can move forward with confidence into the World Cup.

This is the first time that I hear the New Zealand public whistling an opposing player who draws penalties, it proves that nothing is going on with the All Blacks whose public loses the sense of respect. The Blacks no longer frighten anyone, already in the past the French have beaten them on their territory and have opened the breach. It’s good for those arrogant guys who thought they were above the rest. We must now hope for a France-Ireland final at the next World Cup, that would be a nice game. The whole team played beyond expectations but Peter O Mahony is the unsung hero of Irish rugby in my opinion and the best flanker in the world without a doubt.. The man is a pure work horse and he deserves so much more credit 💪🔥🇮🇪☘️
Fantastic display by Ireland. It's one thing to beat New Zealand in Chicago and Dublin but it's a whole other thing to go all the way to New Zealand and beat them Twice fair and square in their own backyard. Let's hope that Ireland can hold onto some of this power and momentum and take it into next year's World Cup.

I'm an Irish-American from NYC. Grew up playing Gaelic Football and Soccer but not Rugby. Go over to the UK a lot to watch Liverpool and Celtic...been starting to gallows Rugby last few years. Gotta say the Rugby fans are top class. All love and respect and none of the bullshit that sometimes comes with supporting football clubs. Gonna try and get over to France for the World Cup
