This whole tournament was a farce where the banquet was prepared by Japanese for the Japanese team, but Korea ended up taking it all. Thanks for the prize money paid by Japanese sponsors, the gold medals and the thousands of dollars MVP Swiss watches which was supposed to be Ohtani's.
@@soogyocho476 im not sure if necroposting counts on yotube, but I would say South Korea is stronger especially in short tournaments, though US is superior in long season leagues
@@meeekle6656 yo that was a 4 year younger me, bruh i was so cringe back then. I was joking lmao and i dont even watch baseball anymore. however its cool seeing this comment pop u[p 4 years later lol.
@@soogyocho476 haha lmao I just said it cuz why not, I mean we were all cringe at some point, I just wanted to see if you replied or not, anyways have a good day and stay safe from covid
Traduce it lazy jajajaja
@@user-kz9gk8sv4m Ryu is a korean national team player, MLB refused to let ANY MLB players play, including Ryu. (My korean is rusty so I just replied in English lol)
I translated your message, and I know what you mean. The US didn't want to risk their reputation and also thought putting in major league players weren't worth it. In my opinion, it was a stupid ass move. Korea is an actually intimidating team and they should've at least filled out the roster with few major league players.
@@5000subsnovideo The point is the US domestic league didn't allow the Best Americans to play, while you could argue most of the best Koreans are still in the KBO
The mlb wouldnt allow their active players to play in this... this was essentially a team made up of free agents and retired players... put mlbs REAL team usa in this and they would win no problem
thatasianplum none of the teams could use MLB players so it doesn’t make a difference. KBO is minor league level and these players were minor leaguers, they don’t have an excuse.
@@timdixon32 i agree that KBO is a minor league level, but i would say there are some players in KBO that definitely have MLB potential if they are trained and used properly.
im not too sure about "no problem". Definitely would win, but you have to respect the Koreans. they did put up a good fight in major tournaments and almost beat us a few times.
5000 Subscribers With No Video no that wasn’t exactly what I meant. I’d always be on KBO’s side. I was saying these were Minor leaguers against KBO players and since most Americans would say KBO is minor league level, then they should be even. But they’re not. Since MLB players didn’t play for either team, it’s still fair. USA shouldn’t be making excuses, Korea was better, and not the only time either.
