Leicestershire batter Louis Kimber blitzed the fastest double century in County Championship history, broke Ben Stokes' record for the most sixes in an innings and smashed Ollie Robinson for 43 off one over to set a world record, to make it a day to remember at Hove.
Sussex won the thriller by 18 runs despite Kimber's rapid 243 from 127 balls on day four.

Sad that he couldn't quite get his team over the line but a brilliant effort. Well bowled to get him too. Almost a leg break by the fast bowler. Change of pace got the wicket.

I was looking at his stats on cricinfo and didn’t look special but aware that doesn’t always tell the full story, can anyone tell me if this was a long time coming or is more likely to be a flash in the pan so to speak?
