Obviously gutted to be on the receiving end of that but have to admit that it was certainly an entertaining end! When we went 2-1 I was thinking “we’ve had a lucky one here”. Even at 2-2 I was thinking “not a bad result this”. And then we all know what happened next. My first away day in two years and I’m glad it was a good one, even though I’d rather a slightly different result. Real shame about the racist abuse online after the match. Always a couple of cretins who have the spoil it for the rest. I know they don’t represent the majority of Vale fans who I’m sure are decent people. Look forward to the return fixture in London. Vale are a very strong side in this division and I’m sure they will be up there in the promotion mix come the end of the season.
