I think at 5-0-0 its fair to say that St. Louis isn't getting lucky, they're just actually really good!

What the hell man? I've never seen an expansion club as effective as St.Louis in its inaugural season. Especially Klauss and Burki transfers are so on point. This team is no joke!

People need to start putting respect on StL City, because Austin, Salt Lake, and Portland are good ass teams. Now St. Louis is at the top of the table with the most goals scoured (15) and only conceded (4) goals. What a team, especially for their inaugural season.

The unselfishness of this STL team is part of the reason why they're doing so well. For the 4th goal Lowen could easily decided to shoot but has the awareness and selflessness to see a better option in passing it to Alm. Well done lads.What a way to introduce yourselves to the league.

Im new to soccer other than the world cups which i watch. Im loving this STL CITY SC team and i think our goalie is amazing and Klauss seems like Messi out there.

It's nice to have the best stadium in the league, the best keeper in the league and the best gegenpressing team in the league. I could never have asked for more. I waited a long time for this!

Sad to see RSL playing this bad after a great opening win! As much as I give credit to St. Louis for how they played, losing 4-0 at home is just inexcusable! Something clearly needs to change among this team if they want to do well this year, because 0-2 at home ain't cutting it. I really hope they can turn it around, still plenty of time!

It was amazing how quickly the stadium emptied once City started scoring... the atmosphere there was great at the beginning, but then by the 70th minute half the stadium was already gone and it was nearly dead silent 😂 COME ON CITY

It's not luck it's the playing philosophy and the German Lutz their sporting director modeled the club after RB Leipzig and other RB clubs and using Klopp's famous gegenpressing tactics. The coach he hired also comes from RB system created by Ralf Ragnick. he basically created and built an identity of this club just like he said he was going to do. and really no other MLS team has done it quite so fast and like this yet from the start of their history. The Philadelphia Union switched to this philosophy once their German sporting director arrived and had instant success as well. this will be ST. Louis City SC's playing style and identity for the future and how they always want to develop and buy players for.. even in the youth levels they are using this same exact system to groom players for. this is how they are all instructed to train and play and it's already working well in MLS. This is also why St. Louis City SC is rumored to bringing in Bobby Firmino. If that ever actually happens watch out. He would be a perfect fit

MLS is not a normal league, and I have just a bit of a feeling that St. Louis All-Caps CITY might become the St. Louis Cardinals of MLS. I could see that happening. Furthermore, as the US and Canada are both producing world-class talent that can play at all levels in Europe, we are still waiting for truly world-class coaching talent to emerge from this league. No disrespect to the guys that have tried their hand in Germany and England. St. Louis just might be the place that we get that from.
