Props to Cherundolo for finally using another formation. I know results like this won’t always happen when attempting to use new formations against various teams, but we have to be more open and willing to take risks. We can’t keep playing it “safe” with the basic 4-3-3 every game because then our play becomes stale as we’ve seen, and the players become stagnant. Los Angeles is known for taking chances, so our team should be no different. The team is also filled with a lot of young talent, and pulling them out of their comfort zone by playing new positions is the only way they will ever maximize their growth.
