Im glad they didn't dq them also for getting out of their cars. It was a scary scene but I'm glad they kept it in the highlights. Cool too see other drivers helping their competitors
@@andrewsebree4333 that’s something I always wondered about, but in an interview one of the outlaw drivers stated that’s a general sentiment in all sprint car organizations- no penalties are ever issued for any drivers who exit their car to assist an endangered competitor- which I think is fantastic. I remember when Brad Sweet crashed at 34 racetrack several years ago- split his car completely in half in front of the driver’s compartment. At least six drivers got out to help him and none were penalized- in fact the outlaws recognized their sportsmanship the next afternoon. Best part? Brad won the very next night!
How about the PA drivers yesterday with the PA Posse sweeping the podium for the Tuscarora 50 with Anthony Macri winning, Brent Marks 2nd and Danny Dietrich 3rd. Hours later for the Gold Cup WOO race, Jacob Allen wins for the PA Outlaws with fellow PA Outlaw teammate Logan Schuchart getting 2nd. Pennsylvania domination on Saturday September 10th in Pennsylvania and California.
I was at Sharon last weekend some drunk dude sitting behind me said real sprint car racing is in California no one compares to those locals out there it was hard to not say anything
Considering they have the Kings Royal, the Big one, Jackson Nationals, the Skagit nationals, the Williams Grove national open, the Summer nationals at the Grove, the Ironman 55, and several others- I don’t think they’re too worried.
@@jonnybalz that tends to happen when one race pays a million to the winner lol. I enjoy both classes of cars, and essentially anything else that races on dirt. I grew up going to New York and seeing dirt modifieds, so it’s always been my favorite surface for racing. However I have no problem going to a good pavement race either.
