I can’t call a 2-2 with morecambe progress this time were favs to get to go to national league last year. They had more chance playing kings lynn this time last year than Ipswich yet here we are. If Ipswich are serious about promotion they should be destroying teams like this 3-0 4-1 whatever. This team were league champions and European winners when morecambe were in the 8th tier of football.mk don’s played tiki taka last year in league 1 and finished 13th .. Ipswich are gonna be in nowhere’sville all season.
@@natureclips5849 we've made a ridiculous amount of signings and the new players have hardly had the chance to play together, give them time and they will give us a good chance of automatic promotion, we've signed championship quality players because thats where our owners believe we will be next season. judging the entire season based on one game is very naive.
Finally, after 10 years of waiting , football worth watching. Let's see where we are in 10 games but the style that that was played in is what Town used to be, and should be all about.
These were tough times. Some of those lads are now smashing it at the top of the Championship with Town but the enthusiasm of the commentator when we nick an equaliser against Morecombe personifies how poor we were back then. Keep the faith. Blue army!
Can't make much of a judgement based on four minutes of highlights from the first game of the season. This fixture showed how clubs' fortunes can change. Ipswich played Morecambe in the FA Cup 3rd round some years ago. Ipswich were in the Premier League and Morecambe were non-league.
Lots of glee and celebration. Some good skills on show...didnt win. Supporters will only take that for a few weeks. Years of pain and suffering, with miserable efforts, and results , we want wins.
