*Highly Requested* 2 Year Adult Braces Update| Treatment update, IPR, Powerchains, Wire bends

I just watched both of your update videos. Thanks for sharing your experience! I am on month 3 (44 years old and finally able to afford braces😅). This last adjustment was IPR for the tooth that finally had enough space to get to (overlapping bad), 7 teeth powerchains on the top to close the gap and bring my midline center, a spring to make space for my missing lateral from childhood, a thicker wire on the top, and then bands. This was the most painful adjustment I've had so far. And this last week I've had bad migraines every day that I assume is because of the bands. The bands are the most painful of all the adjustments added. And I'm probably grinding in my sleep because I wake up and my jar is so sore. I really hope my teeth settle a bit before my next adjustment. It's wearing me out.

Adult braces 6 months in! I would like to see your profile and if you had protrusion. I’m borderline so having a hard time deciding if I should get extractions or not!!

I just got mine installed a few days ago. I was wondering why some of the brackets have those spiky things like the ones on the canines? But now I see, it's to put those rubber bands on at later adjustments. I don't know if I'm ready for all that. Eating has so far been a nightmare. I don't even want to eat cause it seems like anything even the soft foods get stuck and it's a pain to get it all out. Plus they put a spacer around my crown to install a spoke or separate wire for it at a later adjustment and it hurts so bad!! I'm just irritated, my teeth hurt the brackets keep rubbing up against the inside of my mouth. I use the wax to try and get some comfort but it's annoying too. Gosh, I didn't think it would be this involved. But your journey has been amazing. It's leaving me feeling hopeful.

I wish my orthodontist will do the shaving of the teeth as opposed to extractions. I get mine on in 3 weeks. I’m excited lol my teeth have been my biggest insecurity

Jus got mines & so far not to bad but I only have the top next time will be bottoms I’m super nervous with those
