@@noahtaylor6173 it's frustrating knowing what potential is there and being wasted. Trouble is too many people just think no matter what they (and honestly I think it's mostly Johnny driving it) put out that it's gold and it's just not. I know musical taste is a subjective thing and I get evolution and all that but this stuff isn't even good in the pocket they're shooting for. Like I don't consider myself to be a huge fan of rap or hip hop but if I'm in the gym or something I can get down to some drake or whatever. He's good at what he does. Shoot I actually enjoy some country like Morgan Wallen, Tyler Childers, Eric Church. They are good at what they do. There's some catchy Imagine Dragon songs out there even. HS is trying to branch out to these different things which is fine, I can adapt and enjoy a bunch of different types of music, but it still has to be good. Some of this stuff sounds like a SoundCloud artist who found a synthesizer for the first time or something. It's so over produced and electronic now. I just want some freaking guitar, bass, and drums. If that makes me basic or boring or stale, F it, I'll take that any day of the week. Sorry to rant lol.
