Highpointing: Humphreys Peak, the highest point in Arizona - Rooftops of America (old version) 

We summited Humphrey’s yesterday, 9/8/2023. It was nice to have run into you and your group! It was an absolutely beautiful day/hike! Looking forward to checking out more of your vids

i summitted Humphreys Peak today 20230614. there was still a lot of snow in the forest. i usually do better than the estimated time. The estimated time for Humphreys is 6-8 hours. i did it is 8 hours 5 minutes. a couple other experienced high pointers at the summit said the hike was significantly more challenging than they expected. The snow really slowed everyone down and made finding the trail challenging.

Since Arizona mentions Los Angeles & Albuquerque in Flagstaff. They should mention Wheeler Peak & Mount Whitney on Humphrey’s Peak.

Way to go!! I had to turn around due to elevation sickness right before the tree line ended- it was such a bummer, but I'll just have to go back another time!

Thanks, I recommend also doing the peak via the North side trail systems. I skied the northeastern valley where you get a view north of the Grand Canyon on the way up.

and to think, that at one point you would have had to climb another 4000 feet to get to the actual top of that mountain!
