I've missed Paddy and Felix! It was cool getting to know a couple other of your boys too, but the fact that we know who the first two are makes it more like seeing an old friend for the first time in a while. It doesn't matter how long you go between episodes, I'll always be coming back.

I always love tuning into a sketchbook session. Comforting and fun to watch on a break and I take the tidbits of advice to heart. I hope your projects go well! Remember to stretch and stay hydrated (that goes for everyone reading this!!)
Honestly you don’t need to upload often or even on a schedule to make my day. I just watched this to kind of calm down before I go to sleep and that’s an effect a lot of your stuff has. Just calm comfortable vibes for all of us (I hope for you too c: )
as a watcher of ABD illustrates for quite a few years now, its really nice to catch up on his videos once in a while. the way he makes his video, it feels like an old friend im catching up with! very cozy feel, love it as always!

I'm in a really bad depression rn but I frikin love your art Felix made me giggle and smile because the older video with you drawing him helped me improve in my art at some point and it really helped me to remember how much I love to draw even if depression basically removed my interest in anything especially art Thanks for a good mood🍂

These rough sketches are so good, just the form, perspective and flow of the characters is so good and to get it from such a quick sketch is incredible. I can't get anything that quick without a 3d model to reference my poses to :)

Omg I needed this so so much. Thank you. I'm currently in exams season and I've been under very low hours of sleep for a few days in order to study and succeed, and I've started to feel very physically exhausted. This rumbly chatty video is helping me to take a break and appreciate what I've done and just exist without being stressed for a bit. Thanks a lot :)

hey man, i know very well how much this year has had a lot of ups and downs. i know i’m totally late to seeing this, but i’m glad that you’re doing okay, and know that we’ll be here to support you all throughout. i didn’t come to comment just on that - i wanted to say that this is probably one of the most calming and chill channels i’ve found involving art, and these sketchbook sessions have gotten me back onto an art kick. thank you for all the chill vibes you bring us, and for the aesthetic drawings we get as inspo while listening to people we care about with relaxing voices ramble on about things that matter but are still rambling and vibey. (and that made no sense lol-)
"Just keep on doing okay" hits so hard with my current situation I had so much negative stuff happen in 2022 since like late 2019 things have been kinda rough so when 2023 came around I was like "No need for this to be a particularly good year I just need this not to be a bad one, I don't care how much good happens as long as there isn't to much bad I'll be alright." and when in the past 3 or so years you lost 4 family members, the school you've been going to since 3rd grade shut down and now you can't see any of your friends from there list goes on and on and on literally even the smallest thing is absolutely amazing I don't think I've ever been as excited to get my favorite oreo (Mint) then I was today every good thing just hits so much harder when it's been years of bad
I was organizing my scrap paper for scrapbooking and journalling while watching this, and the exact moment you mentioned Kiki's delivery service a tiny scrap of paper from a kikis delivery service art pamphlet flew out from the stack into my lap. I thought the connection was so interesting so I thought I'd share :)

I feel the 2023 has been nonstop work, between conventions and art school i have not stopped at all, but seeing you post really brought a smile to my day, after all the classes and a project deadline your videos are amazing to listen to and just relax, your voice is so soothing. I swear every single one of your videos I've watched has made me so flippin inspired to not only draw but work on some of the daunting tasks and projects I have going on- I'm not really sure how else to explain it, but your work and the way you make your videos specifically so home-y and encouraging just- somehow makes me less scared and more energized to get back to reality. finally got around to sitting down today and watching, 2023 for me has also been a rough year. Sadly, a lot of things aren't looking up. But! I won't let that stop me or my work, I will keep working for my goals. I am looking forward to going into full throttle into my new art projects. I hope the rest of the year is the best for everyone make sure to drink water, eat some food, take a nap ( many of them ), and take a deep breath, we can push through :>

Hi. My 2023 has been through highs and lows but I am continuing on. I have the stuff I am working on. Most of these are my relationships with my family and friends. I am so looking forward to so much this year. Like you I am trying to keep things under wraps too.
