It's heart breaking when a child has to go through this. I'm 45 with a terminal brain tumour. If there is a God, I'm grateful for everyday i'm able to keep smiling, This probram is a real god send.
Sorry to hear you’re going through difficult times same here Lost my ex girl she left me with out notice then lost my apartment 2018 and my carrier also now I am here receiving attacks and threatened persecuted from my own family members which reminds me of Our Lord Jesus Christ what he went through so don’t worry about it we are about to get rapture this coming Pass Over April 11 yeah Alleluia we going home soon 🤗🙏🏼🤗🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Today is the 23rd of July 2024, and this program is so relevant that i wish it could be played again on our TV's for the world to remember how to live and get back to the morals/love of good olden days... God bless everyone in Jesus Christ name Amen... and Micheal, I'll see you back home (heaven) soon.. you left us a very encouraging programs..we thank God for you.. it is so sad to think that you're also a victim of cancer..
PRAISE and THANKS be to GOD for this WHOLESOME, FAITH, HOPE and LOVE inspiring TV series! May GOD bless and reward all those who make this possible. Indeed, Michael Landon and Victor French already are and are smiling at us in HEAVEN. AMEN.
I think this was the best episode. All those kids getting a week away to forget about their cancer and being able to hang out with others and have fun.
Real cancer kids were used as extras. I think they treated it like a camp experience when the filming was over And on biography about Michael Landon, they said he was never standoffish from the kids and acted like he was a regular person
OK totally binge watching these highway to heaven‘s. Sometimes cheesy and other times not believable but your takes us back to simpler better times. Feel good movies with happy endings. Sure do miss Michael Landon and Victor French. Rest In Peace
I would never call these episodes of Highway to Heaven cheesy or unbelievable, I think making a statement like that is cheesy and you should be ashamed of yourself for making it!
I was 18 years old when this show first came out, now that I'm 55, almost 56 years old, I love the show just as much back then, maybe more today. Michael Landon and Victor French were at their best in Highway To Heaven. What's so sad is they were the ones who end up dying from cancer. I don't know all about the kids who played they had cancer, maybe half of them but we all know that Michael Landon and Victor French eventually dies of cancer. Rest in Peace Victor French and Michael Landon
And the crazy thing is that Michael Landon passed of this grave disease the same year the show ended. He had to have fought it like a lion during filming. He truly loved acting and was not going to let anything stop him.
There are always these kids who have a hard time separating from their parents. I imagine it's several times harder when it comes to children with cancer. Let us be healthy!♥️🙏👼
It was a great wee show. Just pity Mike wasn't a real life angel then he would come back and gave us more great tv. When you watch Mike n victor here it's hard to believe they were dead few years later and sadly Jonathan told mark if he quit smoking in last episode he was guna live to 80.
Hey :) did you know he's the only actor too have EVER have three tv shows and be played on TV all at the same time :) *Bonanza *Little house on the Prairie *Highway to Heaven Xoxo fun fact, just wanted to share that
Only actor EVER to have three shows and have them played on TV at the same time !!!! ..what a Stud -Bonanza -Little house of the Prairie -Highway to Heaven
That child with the prosthetic at the pool, is awesome.....I am trying to walk with a through knee, it is 60% harder than a below knee, to walk. That child had a whole limb, he is actually inspiring me. Michael Landon message magic, at its best.🦿🧑🦽
This touches the heart strings.....if it doesn't it's not the script or the show that's lacking in heart... My wife is a 5 time survivor of cancer , being able to laugh and enjoy life, allows her the ability to keep fighting. Tomorrow my complete dvd box set turns up.
Your wife is an amazing and strong person ✅💕😇 Laughing and enjoying (her) life is exactly what this episode is about. It really touches the heart strings and so does your comment. Love and blessings from Holland.
I am almost 41 years old and was diagnosed with borderline petit mal/grand mal epilepsy, extreme high risk refractory stage where my body resists any and all medication for epilepsy and I have a chemical imbalance too. I live my life like everyday is my last. Waiting for GOD to call me home. I was told it would only get worse and I will slip into a coma and go home to Heaven.
This is actually "A Song for Jason (Part 2)", not "A Song for Jason (Part 1)". This old August 4, 2016 upload actually features the uncut version of this episode. Unfortunately, the (2023) digitally remastered version of this episode which has a running time of over 49 minutes is missing the footage and dialogue that is seen and heard from the 8:23 to 8:39 mark of this August 4, 2016 upload and also the footage and dialogue that is seen and heard from the 19:04 to 19:20 mark of this video. On this August 4, 2016 upload, the opening recap sequence starts with "Last Week on Highway to Heaven". On the (2023) digitally remastered version of this episode, the opening recap sequence starts with "Previously on Highway to Heaven". So, the version of "A Song for Jason (Part 2)" that is featured on the VEI "Highway to Heaven: The Complete Series" 21-disc Blu-Ray box set from 2023 is sadly missing 32 seconds of footage and dialogue combined from this episode.
victor French died after completing the series after 5yrs 1989 he was only 54yrs same age like micheal 54yrs in 1991 they were linked as friends even in death ages
They died so young! What a tragedy! Only the good die young! & they were so good. God took them home early. We could have used some more good wholesome tv before they left ... darn it!
Wow this show brings back so many memories , lil Coco from the movie Breakin 1 and Breakin 2 is in this TV show Highway to heaven it was his first acting gig without dancing this was amazing for him he did real well for his first gig without dancing , this was for camp good times kids with cancer ,, they shot this in Malibu CA, we had to be there for a wk , Micheal Landon is a very nice man we had a great time there .
If and when imake it to Heaven ive got questions about this one. Innocent little children shouldnt have to suffer or get cancer. Noone should get cancer. Its horrible. It robbed my husband,my daddy and my nephew of their lives. My husband died only 17 days after diagnosis. I pray for all those with cancer to be healed ,in Jesus name,AMEN🙏
Ms. Bedall as a nurse and Greg Brady as an emotionally distant dad. That hand gesture at 37:03 reminds me of Freddie Mercury. R.I.P. Freddie, Michael and Victor. As M.J. (may he also rest in peace) put it, "gone too soon".
What a wonderful enlightening experience.god bless all the cancer patients in the world.my momhad breast cancer@ i thank every single day i had with her everyday is a true blessing from god
This episode really hits you in the feels. I really can't wait for cancer to FINALLY be gone for good one of these days. I understand Jason's father but he needed to stop being selfish and think about his son first and foremost. His son needed him more than ever and he needed to get his head out of his behind.
it's hearkbreaking children with cancer but michael landon never knew 5yrs after he was also a cancer patient and sadly died of pancreatic issues rip michael landon and thxx for everything and for the kids
It splits my heart in two every time I watch the opening.. French picks Landon up and drive away together. Such irony. Why such things happen.. beats me. I quit wondering. It messes with my faith and faith is my strength. Well, He's the boss.. His will.. His order.. we shouldn't ask questions and just say 'Aye Aye Sir'.
I pray both friend make heaven after all this series. And why will the two friend died of same time and of same age. Michael Landon and victor French .Rip legendary
Chemo makes ALL hair fall out, not just on the head. I wish hair and make-up people would realize that and cover the eyebrows too. They could make extra long head pieces that go over the eyebrows as well as the hair on the head or something.
Not always. My mother didn't lose her eyebrows but did lose her hair. She was upset when it grew back because it was curly, kinky actually. One would think she would be grateful it grew back at all.
@@maureenbanks3702 he was an amazing actor for sure and amazing looking 😛💞 I remember my grandparents watching Bonanza. I have both Little House and Highway series on DVD
@@TxAmber78 he was the best looking leading man in Hollywood for many years in my opinion. Gorgeous. I want to buy the heaven can wait series if its available. When I was sick & home from school as a kid I always loved the daytime tv... bonanza was a sure bet every time! Followed by perry Mason! Lol
They used a couple of kids that actually had cancer in this episode. The little girl that Jonathan was carrying to her seat had cancer. Her name was Tamara.
3:14 I'll be d---ed! That kid was wise beyond yrs. Made a _Kojak_ reference. (And looks a lot like Eleven from _Stranger Things_ before the hair grew out.)
I love this show, but boy how times have changed. Today a kid at camp would never be in bed with an adult. I can't even believe that was on television .
They are mixed up - but if you just keep trying each one, you find the right one. They are both there but each one is there twice, under the correct title and not.
