can you see heat signatures at 500+ meters? i don't need to identify them, i just need to know where people might be hiding during military exercises...

I have tried all combinations in the settings but my image is very grainy and nothing like what you are showing in this video, my unit is the Lynx Pro 10mm. The unit is a week old and supplied by Optics Warehouse. Could the unit possibly be faulty.

Can this be used to track down quarry such as squirrels in dense trees during daytime?

That's what I've just bought this for from these guys. I would imagine so, I've used my mates pulsar but can't warrant the price, this has a good heat sensor on it so at 50-100yd a squirrel should glow like a luminous glow stick!

1983lparker nice one,for the price of it I don’t think I can complain about that.i only usually scan around the woods around 50yrds coz it’s so dense so hopefully should do the job 👌

Will I be able to clearly identify a fox or a boar at 100m? (as in: not a blurry white stain) Thx!

No. You'l need the 15 or 35. 6mm will be just a blob.
