I absolutely loved the melting pot feel of season 5! Wish we could have seen characters like Phi, Gwyn, and Delta return in the show since they actually did in the season 5 manga. Great work man! ✊🏿✊🏿

Here's what I love about this finale. Sure Hikaru & Hyuga were standouts(I mean they are the MCs), but the spotlight of this finale was Lain. He got the best possible ending for his character, and I anyone writes a fan-fic, I can totally see him joining the Comets or inviting the Hizashis to the Raging Bulls. If you really think about it deeply, this season isn't really about Hikaru & Hyuga, it is really about Lain.
From a power hungry underwritten villain to discovering the fun of blading and transcending to the light. That’s the character development I want to see from him.
15:53 Hikaru bursted first then Lain then Hyuga I always felt like Hyuga surpassed his brother because of this scene. He had a lot more potential and power but without Hikaru he wouldnt be able to bring out the best.

@@nehuend1015 Ranjiro? Yes. But Honcho was already a legend blader. Which means he had climbed the rank in between Turbo and Rise. If we talk about individual strength, Honcho matched Valt's brave sword with his glide tornado. He also knocked out Satomb (which is a defense type) with momentum. While the twins have some solo moves, they can easily be blocked by Honcho(considering he blocked full on brave sword) or Silas (using triple spin).And when I said the twins aren't winning any solos, what I meant is that they aren't winning anything against the top bladers. The possibility of winning any solo match against Valt, Shu, Lain, Aiger, Free, Lui and Drum is 1/100. I hope you understand.
@@adnanaboukewik4950 I don't think so. Free Lui and Aiger have shown high levels of individual strength. Although the twins might win a few against Drum, I really don't see how they can defeat Lui, Free or Aiger(unless they get a crazy amount of plot armor).
Surge finale battle is hype af, sucks that Valt v Aiger & Dante v Gwyn finales didn't have the same level of animation was in the battles leading up to them
God, when I first saw this I was fuckin AMAZED. Like here I'm thinking watching Shu get Requiem was great and then they just outright make it a battle anime for an episode in Surge. It's great. I straight up bought Lucifer after this because I HAD to get that beyblade after this dude's story arc.
Also SPEAKING of Shu, this is basically the end of his character arc, too. He managed to stop someone else from going down the same road he did, while also passing the torch to a new gen. It's peak cinema. It's one of those episodes I want to show people but it needs at least two seasons of context first.
It's always interesting seeing new watchers enjoying the seasons that are hated by most beyblade fans (I'm talking about Rise and Surge since idk Bloom's opinion about QD and QS yet) I can understand why it was so hated when Surge came out, but seeing how they wrapped up Burst anime I'm glad something like Surge could happen. It's nice seeing the legends work together in tag teams and they acted like mentor too for the new gen bladers. And at least for Rantaro, we can assume he will also continue to be a bey trainer after Burst ended so it's a nice closure for him. Honestly Shu & Rantaro proved themselves that they're good mentors here, their career in beyblade are not limited to be just only be a blader
Most burst watchers hate surge because of the "plot armor" to some extent, there was from the beginning, but everytime people say lain has plot armor and that he'd get destroyed without it, i'll point out the fact that he was trained by the runner up of the national tornament who would have become world champ, even though he was a rookie until he trained for months or for we don't know how long, it still makes sense(Even if flare was plot, but i don't care about plot armor). He also has an amazing raw strength, broke a launcher, broke a door, idk how much i wanna say. Hyuga and Hikaru is common logic despite it's poor excecution and relys heavily on context, because the twins. Oh and about "Free and Lui became frauds" i have to point out that fafnir was never burst throughout the season and free got a successful ringout finish against aiger and most of the entire thing were tag battle tornaments, so basically, they weren't frauds because they lost a tag battle. burst community hates seeing their fanfavorite characters lose to antagonists or protagonists, and i even have to point out that everyone in the tag tornament beat each other at a time, like the protagonists teams beat valt and rantaro, who beat the twins and free and silas, free and silas beat lui and dante, aiger and ranjiro lost to lui and dante despite them beating silas and free, free and silas beating lui and dante i could go on because even the twins struggled in the majority of their matches, and in the end, despite the record, they managed to build up some of the best moves that would fit for a semi final for the brothers. Most of the plot armor, i can forgive and not mind(we already have gwyn, aiger, Arthur, etc), this season has so much character development from those who were brought back. Everyone from evo including Wakiya, Aiger and (Maybe Ranjiro?) with the exception of dante who was good for lui's character, and brothers growing up together. These are so many undeniably good qualities that burst fans don't look at and only look at the negative parts of the season. I knew he'd like this season because of the amazing arcs it gave to fans. But Record doesn't equal strength, so Lui and Free are still really strong, and i don't even believe they were nerfed.
@@adnanaboukewik4950I kinda feel like some fans are treating the anime like battle shonen anime that are adapted from original manga, even though hobby anime like beyblade is technically a glorified toy commercial 😅 It's honestly pretty amazing that the anime team still bother to try to give good moments for characters from previous seasons and some sense of continuity, in the fifth season too of all things! Some fans also treating it like if their fave character lose = bad season. Again that's not always the case. The win and lose rate are usually determined by which products that the anime are going to promote in the season so of course the anime needs to make the new product look good. So thinking that some characters are supposed to be invisible or unbeatable is not gonna work. It's mostly about the execution rather than making sure specific characters keep winning Tbh, when I find out Surge is hated mostly because of Lain's "plot armor" it kinda bamboozled me 😂 Are they not enjoying the tag battles? The legends working together?? The animation??? I feel like I'm weird for even enjoying it 😂 But to each their own so I can't force them to like it too If I'm not wrong, I think the manga reveals that the theme of Dante's arc is about friendship. So it makes sense that out of all people, the guy who is all about friendship is the one that can be close and work together with Lui even though they barely know each other before this 😂 As for Free and Lui, of course they're still really strong and not washed in any way. I have a theory that maybe during Surge/Sparking production, the anime team got the news that they have to make Quaddrive/Dynamite Battle next. So of all characters in Surge, they chose to "sacrifice" Lui and Free since these two already appeared many times in the previous seasons and will appear in the next one too anyway 😂 That could be why their moments in Surge may not seem that great or iconic compared to the others. And yeah I think Ranjiro got his moments too in Surge. I think he is technically almost Legend level since he is supposed to enter the Legend festival but that spot goes to Hyuga because of his injury. He fought together with Aiga, actually contributed a lot and did not simply get carried. He also wins against his big brother who is his inspiration (and I know Rantaro must be proud of him too 😂). I'd say he accomplished quite a lot in this season even though he still has a long way to go. Same with Silas too who now can fight side by side with Free and by the end of Surge, it's shown that they are more friendly and close with each other. It's a good closure for Ranjiro and Silas knowing this is the last time we see them, at least they managed to accomplish their personal goals
From beys to the bladders themselves fighting, I’m surprised this scene didn’t come in the Beyblade trend 😂. But the next and final season DB is the most realistic and the quality gets way better but I hate the character designs especially Valts since he gets so small compared to surge. no, see when shu sees a purpose to win a match, he will try to put everything to win, that's just how he is, he wanted to make lane's flare shine brighter so he went all out just for this.

Strong characters getting abruptly nerfed is plot, mc's that beating those invincible looking bladers is plot, mc's winning their final battle in their story end is plot.So many characters got trashed just because mc can get to the top. I can go even further but I hope you understood, if we watch like this we can't enjoy but grow hatred out of it.

Everyone has their own tastes. Yes there are people who love surge, and hating on people because they love a certain something you don’t love is childish. Grow up. Not everyone has to agree on something no matter how much hate or love a certain media gets. Disliking surge is absolutely valid, but acting like anyone who likes it has bad taste isn't. That’s all I gotta say.
