Yes they were! We were told they typically go up Trillium Gap Trail on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday while the lodge is open! We hope to see them again this year on another hike in the beautiful Smoky Mountains!
We are not point A to point B hikers, so it always takes us longer! With the terrain, sightseeing, filming, and stopping for snacks, it was about 6 hours, but it was so worth it! We love taking our time and really getting to enjoy being in nature!
