Hello fellow adventure seekers! In today's video I take you along on the stunning Berg Lake trail as I hike to Kinney Lake. This in and out hike is 8.5 miles (13.7 km) with a 453m elevation gain.

I did Berg Lake many, many years ago....and if I remember it was 20kms in or something?!.....Big communal cabin to dry wet things in at the top and the big glacial boulders to hang out and sun yourself on. So cool!

Gorgeous scenery. Saw the bear sign, that's scary. Have you every had any encounters with any?

I have encountered a few black bears but not on the actual trail.....mostly near the Mount Robson Visitor centre. Once when I was on the Tonquin Valley Trail I had to wait for a Grizzly mama and cub to wander off before continuing on my hike...that was rather stressful LOL
