Hey y'all, I hadn't planned on making a video from our trip to Costa Rica, but I ended up getting so much footage of really cool critters and the landscape I thought some of you might enjoy seeing it. Since I didn't plan to release this I wasn't narrating everything like I normally do, but hopefully this gives you a pretty good idea of what it was like. Still can't go on a proper backpacking trip, but I hope you enjoy this *bonus video!

We visited Costa Rica with our 9 year old grand son. It was magical. Wonderful people. Your photography of the the birds and animals is fantastic. Actually loved the rice and beans. Pura Vida!

You should come, you won’t regret it. Here we love tourists and the nature is spectacular. The only requirement to come here is that you have to say Pura Vida many times and be in a Pura Vida mood. I highly recomend to go to Manuel Antonio National Park, very close from there you could visit Nauyaca Waterfalls. Also you could go to La Fortuna there you could see the Arenal Volcano, visit the hot springs (my favorite is Tabacón Hot Springs, you could pay the day pass) and very close from La Fortuna is Rio Celeste that is in Volcán Tenorio National Park. Finally you could visit Tortuguero National Park, Corcovado National Park and the Poas Volcano. Kind regards, pura vida! 🇨🇷

We spent a week in La Fortuna and loved it. The night hike was fabulous and we did a few others as well. There’s a terrific hot spring that’s actually a River and free. Thanks

Great video!!! I went on a guided tour of Costa Rica in 2019. I recognized the Howler Monkeys right away! You got to see the volcano better than I did! And the ants carrying the leaves. I would love to go back!!!!!

Love Costa Rica!! Those side roads are rivers at time and dry riverbeds other times. Looks like Hermosa beach. Good to see CR is still unspoiled💕

You should come again to our country, I’m sure that now is even better than last time you came here. There are a lot of new places to visit such as Nauyaca Waterfalls, San Juanillo Beach, Río Celeste is very easy to hike and many other places. In San José we have Barrio Escalante that is one of the most chills neighborhoods in the world (go at night, is better) Now we have the 6.5% of the whole biodiversity of the world, probably when you came it was like 5% or less. Google Costa Rica and this places that I reccomend and you will see how beautiful they are. Tourists will always be welcome here 👍👍 Pura vida!!

Glad you enjoyed my country! A tip for next time around is to always cross a river on the widest part. Well, that unless you get of the car and actually test where the shallowest part is.

Wow! This really brings back memories. Backpacking in a Costa Rican jungle will make up for every trip with zero wildlife sightings. I remember a band of howler monkeys, following me through the canopy and also, kicking my sleeping bag to the farthest corner of my tent at night.

I’m able to watch in silence. The dog sounds at start had both my pups at my phone & when you said in soft voice watch ‘em. Just like we do. The loudest big dog took off outside to watch. Very cool video & thanks for sharing.
