Thank you! While we work in various fields we try to get together about twice a year to go on a backpacking adventure. As far as preparing for these hikes, each one of us is different but we usually bump up our exercise routines a month in advance to get ready. As with most things in life, it’s 20% physical and 80% mental! :)
You better not hike up there in October during hunting season I'll warn you that. Unless you want to get shot. If you scare away the elk those hunters will be pissed.
@@thecasualmtnhikers good I'm glad. There are cases every year where someone does get shot on accident and the elk do run away from hikers but thank you for respecting hunters like me and not interfering like some people.
