Hiking Dalane, Norway 

Dalane is the southernmost part of Rogaland county in Norway and includes the municipalities of Eigersund, Sokndal, Lund and Bjerkreim. The landscape in Dalane is characterized by hillock-shaped moors, often almost bare, and with numerous, heavily branched watercourses with some rather large bodies of water. The landscape seems barren, which is due to the bedrock.
