Excellent... I purchased one of these packs about 6 months ago and also love it. It's great for my weapons carry in the back woods and mountains. I'm able to carry my maps, GPS, first aid kit, and electronics within reach during the hike. A great addition to your pack.
It still blows my mind how much this little pack can hold. I can carry so much stuff and have it all easy to access. I still use mine and enjoy it very much.
Definitely nice pack to me that would come in handy if you're hiking through the woods to a isolated fishing hole you don't have to carry a tackle box.
Dude!!!! FANTASTIC, AND IN-DEPTH review.......WELL DONE!!!! I'm a hiking youtuber and was looking at different front packs. As soon as I saw this one, and the flexibility of using it with your existing backpack, I was almost sold! Then I decided to check for a RU-vid review, and WOW!!! I'm definitely going to buy this right away, based on this excellent information. What a lot of folks don't realize, is that 90% of your backpack contents aren't even needed or accessed until you get to your destination! And especially if you're solo hiking, you don't have that second person to always grab your water bottle for you. (I don't use a water bladder) Thank you for taking the time to present this in such an awesome way!!
I'm really glad you enjoyed the video. I still use this pack all the time. It is my main camera bag and it always comes with me. One adjustments I made is I actually always attach the straps to my pack. Getting that weight off my neck really makes hiking a lot more comfortable.
Wolf Pack Woodcraft that's one of the best features about the whole setup!! All the gopro accessories can fit inside here with no problem! I can't wait to get it, and put it to use!!
@@run_hike_vanlife I think you are going to be amazed how much this vest can really hold. It still surprises me that all my camera gear fits in there with room to spare.
Wolf Pack Woodcraft I just got mine in the mail!! The quality is excellent, and the color is perfect!! I thought it would be more gray, but it's actually between gray and olive green. I am going to LOVE having my essentials really accessible from now on! Thanks again for this awesome video!!!
There is a ton of options you could use this pack for. I really enjoy having all my camera gear together in one spot and that it is SO much easier to carry now.
Sure is a handy set-up there Kory, I really like how it can be attached to the pack to lesson the neck load Priced well to boot Thanks, Friend ! ATB T God Bless
It's really nice getting the load off your neck and onto your shoulders. I worry about my camera gear hitting the ground so I probably won't attach it often but on really long hikes I might just care more about comfort lol.
Just having a way of carrying everything without it taking up space in my main pack is huge. Plus having everything in front kinda counterbalances the weight on your back. I really do like this thing I will be using it on every trip.
Awesome! If I need to pack more then my GoPro and phone I’m going to get one of those! I have a half type one that is in my closet. Might get using it again. I love your stuff!
This pack has really made it easy to keep all my camera gear together in one spot. Plus just being able to grab it and go is awesome. There I might buy a second one just to have different rigs depending on what I'm doing.
Heck yeah , too many uses to mention here. Anything you might need along the trail and you don’t need to take your pack off to get it. Map and compass, ccw, snacks. Knife, the possibilities are endless. 👍👍 and I love the photography gear ideas.
My 9mm Shield fits perfect in the inside pocket. I love that I have all my camera gear in one place and it's not taking up space in my main Backpack. This front pack is exactly what I needed. Just throw it on and go film no looking for anything anymore.
Great video! I've been trying to find reviews on this thing. You are the first. I was originally going to get the Ribz, but I was too late I guess. This one doesn't seem like it holds as much though and is a little more expensive. I don't know what else out there would be good with a backpack though so maybe.
LA Police gear makes a more budget front pack but it doesn't have as many options. I'm not sure how much it carries either. Here it is if you wanna take a look at it ==> amzn.to/2M9zwwl For me the Revamp Gear front pack is perfect and I love that I can attach it to the straps of my backpack taking the load off my neck. It really does make a world of difference when hiking. This pack is exactly what I was looking for and if you do decide to get one I'm sure you will enjoy it.
I LIKE it. I don't have a lot of camera gear YET, but I think it would be perfect for fishing. Or extra space Solo hiking. I Like how the weight is in the straps of your main pack Not your neck !
Having the weight on the straps is the reason I bought this one over some of the others. I carry a lot of gear sometimes and being able to take that weight off my neck is a huge bonus.
I've have one of these but haven't had a chance to try it out yet! I'm going to use it with my day pack to carry camera gear and other misc. stuff. I'm also going to use it when I'm out metal-detecting, the front pouches will work great for holding any finds. It fits well and I think it will do the trick! Great review my friend! ATB Sty
I'm really glad I found this pack. It's so nice having all my camera stuff in one spot plus when I want to film and can just through it on and go. This has really made my life a lot easier!!! Thank you so much for watching!!!
This front pack has really made a huge difference in how I carry my camera gear. It is so nice having easy access to everything I need without having to take off my backpack. Thank you so much for watching.
I have to learn to use the GoPro more often. I forget I have it and I forget that it is waterproof and can be completely submerged. Once I get used to it I think I will have lots of fun filming with it.
I'm actually in the middle of giving one away. Revamp Gear liked this video so much they sent me one to GiveAway plus gave the people who watch my GAW video a discount code for 10% off and Free shipping. So if you want to enter to win you can or if your luck is like mine you can use the code and just order one yourself if you are in need of something like this that is.
That is to cool. That would be great for fishing also. If they made for big guys. But to cool I can't carry stuff in my pocket so that's awsome way to carry stuff. Just to cool thanks bro. Have a good week god bless.
I am really happy with this front pack. It has answered all the problems I was having carrying my camera gear. I love that it is all in one spot and I can just grab and go. No more looking for everything before going anywhere.
I looked into buying a Ribz Pack but I'm not sure if they make them anymore??? I found this one and the fact I can attach it to my shoulder straps sold it for me. It really does get the load off your neck and onto your shoulders making it a lot more comfortable to carry.
wolf pack woodcraft Yea, they're still in business. They really only do anything via their website, which kind of hurts them in terms of exposure, because they miss out on the exposure via social media.
Maybe I'm looking at the wrong website but the only thing they sell is the Ribz Pack and it has been sold out since at least the middle of April. www.ribzwear.com/store/
great video, really detailed. i have been looking at aarn backpacks and they have front packs with a main goal, besides accessibility, of distributing load. do you think attaching this to the sternum strap one way or another would better distribute and balance the front and back weight? what's your experience with hiking with all the gear in front and how does the weight on your shoulders feel? also, do they bang around at all when you're hiking? thanks again.
I really enjoy how much this front pack holds. I don't think it makes the load on my back any easier but because it holds so much I can carry way more without noticing (The front pack doesn't rest on my back or hips). I really like attaching this pack to my shoulder straps and getting the load off of my neck. When I do so it really makes a world of difference in how little I notice I'm wearing it. When you carry it by its self you notice the front weight and when you carry it with a backpack on top I can really feel the weight on my neck but once I attach it to the shoulder straps it becomes very comfortable. Here is a video where I hike out with it on and show my load out ==> ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_rqdmKJFehM.html hopefully the video helps you more than this comment.
I don't think it would fit in the in the zipper pocket. I think it could be placed in one of the inside pockets with the handle sticking out. It can easily conceal carry a smaller pistol but I think the 6" barrel is gonna make it to long to fit. I hope this helped. Thank You so much for watching I really appreciate the support.
I don't notice it all actually. Since it has my camera gear in it I have taken it with me on a lot of hikes and I really enjoy this pack. I'm amazed at how much it can hold and being organized has really helped me a lot.
I still use the Revamp Gear Front Pack for camera gear and it works great. I actually hook it to my shoulder straps on my pack every time I use it. It is just so much more comfortable not having the weight on my neck. I still highly recommend it.
I actually have a new video on this Front Pack coming up this Sunday. It holds a lot of gear. I would load it up the same as I would a haversack with my 10 C's.
The D ring actually lays on top of the strap. It is comfortable however I do attach it to the shoulder straps of my backpack. It really is nice getting the weight off of my neck.
