Nasty heat wave here, so I'll try to cool down with a winter topic.In one of Åre videos you showed a poster of Ingemar Stenmark.He is still known and respected here in Slovenia, especially the generation of my parents remembers him well, even I although a kid back then in 70's and 80's.Alpine skiing is our national sport, not much of a surprise since we have the mountains though.He still holds the record for the most world cup wins, but that's not the main reason why people here still respect him.It's the fact that he skied throughout his entire career on Elan skis.That's our ski and sports accessoires manufacturer.Nowadays the younger generations don't really care much, but back then in Stenmark era Elan was our national pride.No one less than world's greatest skier used products of a small company situated in idyllic village at the foothills of the Alps.

How far is Mörvikshummeln from central Åre? In Skistar webpage it dosent say which lift takes you to that top, i will be there end of June and want to explore The Åre Sign 😃
