Valentine's Day winter hike through the snow in the Swiss mountain village of Braunwald in Canton Glarus, staying at the motorhome parking in Luchsingen in our Hymer EX614 motorhome.
Braunwald is a car free village 1256m above sea level, and 800m above the nearest access road in Linthal. Access is by funicular railway.
Braunwald has many winter hiking paths, snow shoe routes as well as cross country and downhill skiing.
This was during the Coronavirus lockdown so restaurants and bars are closed but they provide take-away, including excellent pizza which was our lunch.
