I think it's awesome how you have documented your Rambler Family, not only for your RU-vid viewers, but also for Aife, so that years from now, she can revisit them, as well as you and Harvey. another beautiful video. these hiking videos bring back great memories for me of backpacking trips with my young (1.5 and 3 years old) daughters. my wife would carry the little one and some light bulky items strapped to the kid carrier while i had all the rest of the gear in a 100L Gregory pack. the 3 yr old would walk along and sometimes ride on my shoulders between my head and the pack lid.

Had an enjoyable walk around Loch Muich this summer. Beautiful area. I think the lodge was used by Queen Victoria with the royal chicken playing on the little beach nearby. Your vlog has brought back some great summer holiday memories. Thank you :-)

I absolutely love that you’re in my part of the Cairngorms!! The first time I climbed Lochnagar I did it at night. I thought I wouldn’t get a sunset view because there were too many clouds but lo and behold I came right out of the clouds and saw the most amazing sunset and cloud inversion! Then turned around and saw the full moon rising! I’ve never seen the moon so full and bright! So close! I didn’t know which way to turn my head as I was getting a double show. I got down about 3am and was still too excited to sleep! What a memory! If you ever want some secret walks (small or big) in the eastern cairngorms give me a shout and I’ll point you in the right direction!!

I love to see your adventures as a family. I have a 7 month old and my husband and I get outdoors with him as much as possible. We are really not confident with what to dress him in. This has to be different depending whether we are front or back carrying. What all in one is Aife wearing as it looks toast warm?

As parents watching, my wife and I just had a giggle looking at attempts at brushing teeth. 😂

We visited loch Muick a few months ago in the van, outstanding area, full of natural beauty 😍 Queen Victoria’s lodge (glas alt shiel) has a bothy at the rear of the property, you could’ve stayed in there as it’s really well finished inside and, has a toilet. Looks like you had a great night anyway 👌🏼
