Join me as my daughter and I hike up the Alum Cave trail to the the LeConte Lodge and to Myrtle Point. This hike is one of our favorite trails in the Gatlinburg/Great Smoky National Park area.
Thanks for posting. I have hiked Mt LaConte many times and stayed at the Lodge 5 times. Another really nice hiking trail to LeConte if the weather is clear is the Boulevard trail which starts at the New Found Gap parking lot right up the road. I think it's great your daughter hikes with you!
