I used to walk 15 kilometres in one direction and the same back , off course, just to visit a friend for a cup of coffee . You made it to the top, I'm proud of you😊
Lieles, try to enjoy the walks! Surroundings are amazing! And every kilometer is a good thing for our health! Give your body this privilege of walking on those hills! 😍
when you estimate the views are going to be epic, you get strength and resistance and push forward! And once you get to see the landscape, you forget about how tired you are and any muscle pain. The pain goes away, the views and memories remain!!
7, 2, etc boards are markings for a ski track... so ski track number 7 would have these posts all along it's track for the skiers to be able to navigate. :)
Talking about things that can stub or bite you on Babin Zub, you were lucky there was a fog, or you would probably see packs of strange looking "german shepards"... At least you don't have idiot of labrador, like me, that every time like to run full speed among them, to play...
Our dog is an idiot too, that is why she was on leash all the walk, with the fog she would have gotten lost every other turn and would have run towards the wild horses. If you pay attention to the audio, she was crying throughout the video because we didnt let her go free We stayed in Balta Berilovac and we could hear the wolves every night, and Nala crying cause she wanted to go meet them
@@mariaandbryan When i served in Yugoslavian army in Prizren Kosovo 97/98. we were formed in "Intervention platoon" and send us on the mountain border ( Paštrik-Koritnik 1700-2000 meters above sea )with Albania, we heard pack of 20-30 volves running below us on mountain paths ( we set in ambush waiting for illegals ( albanian weapons smugglers and UČK terrorists), and they told us strictly not to shoot at any beast so far as they don't attack us at least 2 meters near us...by shooting we would reveal our position to smugglers...we hiked every day around 20 km from base to bottom of mountain and to destination 300 meters below peak...in buffer zone sometimes on border if they (border guardians) needed help...
LOL! A Lieles centric walking episode 😄 an RPG hahaha.. too much fog for sure! Great job Maria on that walk!! It feels good to do it, gotta keep in shape as we get older lol.. great job guys! LOL at that ending..
Awesome video dude! Can you tell what preset do you use for color correction. Is it preset or you color correct it yourself? Thanks in advance! Stay awesome!
Thank you Matija. My husband does his color grading, he edits on Da Vinci and records on log profile. I keep telling him to create his own presets but he says he is still perfectioning his color grading. Thank you for noticing and reaching out!
Walking 4km is nothing if it's flat, but inclination can hurt! 😅 Also Stara planina is beautiful, but there are other gorgeous mountains in Srbia and Balkans ❤
Correct! Especially when one has injuries. There is so much nature and wonderful places, we would probably need 10 years of continuous travel to see and enjoy everything before our knees give up forever 😂❤️
Love it! thank you for all your videos. Very, very enjoyable! I'm in Belgrade for the next year or so. Been coming here since 2018. I just need to do the small town experience soon! "new subscriber
Wonderful! We are also in Belgrade for another 6-8 months...or maybe more, we never know where life would take us. Hope you enjoy visiting the small towns, they are wonderful. Thank you!
Thank you so much!!! We can't wait to visit the black sea region in Türkiye. Have you eaten the pilav with sardines? And the melting cheese for breakfast??? Enjoy!!!
all these "it looks like a Scary movie" thing trope so who's gonna tell them that Vampire legends didnt originate in romania, that romania is a place where novels originate not actual legends, that the writers of vampire novels got inspired by serbian legends of 2 oldest vampires "Pavle" being so old only a few who saw a tv show about him know he existed and "Sava" who is more like 1920's,anyway in original legends i think they don't turn into bats but owls, another thing to look for lol
there are almost no bears, and for sure no serial killers in the woods in serbia, unlike the US, so you can relax, some wolves, sure, but not on the frequently visited trails like this
I believe it! I walk by 10 year olds that are like 2 meters tall. It took me 30 years to get to 187cm 😂. I don't know what you put in the food but I wish I had some of it growing up. Everyone is Serb strong and I'm American fragile lol.
@@mariaandbryan Oh no! I've summoned the ghost of that typical american self depreciating "humor". Best you put it back in the bottle while you're here. ;)
Thank you so much! We use the canon cinema camera C70 which is Netflix approved. One of our goals is to make content for Netflix one day. Plus Lieles edits on Da Vinci which allows him to work deeply on color grading. Thank you for noticing 😊
As a Spaniard, (Maria typing this) we complain about every little thing, it is part of our character. My husband (American) hates to walk, so he is always going to complain even if it is 10 steps. This who we are. We are not perfect models to be look up to. We are just two people in our 40s living life in our way. No one was bragging though, we were just happy we actually did it, cause we didn't think we would. We have plenty of injuries in our knees so we really didn't think we could. According to the dictionary, to brag: say something in a boastful manner.
Great recommendations! I had Prokosko Lake in our to visit list. The Vranica mountain, how is the hiking there? Cause as you see Lieles isn't a big fan of the waking
