Hiking Teror - Bco del Alamo-Sagrado Corazón (active subtitles) 

Circular route in Teror, going through the Barranco de El Álamo ravine (also known as Barranquillo de Ojero) and the Barranco Barbuzano ravine. The "Sendero del Álamo" was created at the beginning of 2021 with the aim of sustainability, included in the project "Senderos y vida", whose objective is the recovery of paths and trails in the municipality of Teror. We start past Monteverde, descending to the ravine on a concrete path. The first section, at a low level, runs along the bottom of the ravine to La Molineta. Two metal and wooden ladders make it possible to cross the only unevenness in this section safely. The abundant vegetation of the ravine allows you to walk in the shade for a good part of the route. If necessary, we can exit the ravine at the junction that connects El Álamo with Cuesta Falcón.
Small wooden palisades help to prevent erosion of the terrain. When we reach La Molineta we can leave the ravine and return to Teror by road. If we continue up the ravine we enter the Barranco Barbuzano. In this section of the route the path is narrower and the vegetation denser. Several slopes that can cause vertigo are protected with metal handrails to provide safety. As it is less travelled, the vegetation on this section is denser and invades the slopes, enveloping us.
The path turns off to the right before arriving at the caidero, and care must be taken on the ascent because the terrain is loose. In this section of the ravine you will find steps carved into the rock to facilitate progression.
At the end we can exit the ravine on the left to reach the place known as Sagrado Corazón, Arbejales or Llano Roque, although we can also continue along the ravine and exit it after the bridge on the right.
We now follow the GC-424 in the direction of Teror for 1.2 km before turning right onto El Corredor, where we return to the bottom of the ravine.
Back in La Molineta, we now climb up to the asphalt in the direction of Cuesta Falcón to head towards Peñón Chiquito. From here, in just over 700 metres, we find the signpost indicating the descent to El Muñigal. At the crossroads we continue downhill until we reach the El Muñigal bridge, the end of our circular route.
