Please watch the video of "NEPAL 8TH WONDER" of trekking in Mardi himal..But there is less snow than this video, Sorry for that ..TAKE CARE OF NATURAL GIFT
Me and my friend just completed the trek, the same dog followed us from low camp to high camp 😊 we used feed him and later on the evening he vanishes. We saw him the following day in the hotel where we stayed that night, Hotel Excellent View 💖
Just watched this with my brother and his young kids. They ♥️ the hiking dog. We even got out the map and showed them where Nepal was located. Thank you for making a great family moment for us 👍
Nepalis have been celebrating the Dog's day for thousands of years. And since the country formally established in 1768, the whole country shuts down that day. I think the day lies in the month of October according to lunar calendar.
don't forget to give him credit for going back/walking twice again and again to setup his camera on those sloppy himalayan all the time ! Thank you man,you made me feel proud ! Love from Nepal 🇳🇵 Namastey 🙏 ! Hope you had awesome time here !!!
There are so many countries to go for trek but with Nepal, its different. It hits differently. The people, the culture, the nature itself, the vibe, the roads. Its soooo amazing Update: two weeks back i went to mardi aswell and 3:49 we ate at the same lady's hotel 😂
Dude, I have been to Nepal ten times and spent a year trekking there. You really captured the vibe of a typical lodge trek in Nepal. Beautiful! Hit me right in the feels. Nepal is like my second home.
This might be one of my favourite videos you have ever done; The dog is amazing, the views and shots are fantastic, and I love the sound of the crunchy snow. Top marks my man.
I love your food close up shots. I appreciate them tremendously, along with everything else you post. Also - that sweet pup following you everywhere is 🤍
on this kind of well beaten up multi day treks you often have dogs coming ith you for days, i guess they know they re gonna get some snacks sooner or later
@@vutamonk3211 It literally even isn't his dog, it's a local one, used to these kind of altitudes. They actually do follow and guide people from one village to another.
I have been on so many different treks in a different region of the Himalayas, but one thing is common among all of them, a dog followed me in each and every trek from the time I started to the very end, so better to reward them with a treat after the trek is complete.
I love how you didn’t include the word “alone” in the title, given you had that sweet dog follow you for such a long part. How confused was he/she by you always going back and forth for your camera? 😄
Beautifully shot and produced. I did Mera Peak in '94 and then the Tamang Heritage Trail in '07 and am dreaming of a return with the family. The tea houses seem to have become a little gentrified since I was there. Loved your tag-a-long buddy. Thanks for the beautiful experience mate and cheers from Sydney - Dave
Kraig Adams I am from Nepal, Kathmandu. Hope you will visit and explore the silences nature of Nepal again . This video melts my hearts because of your affection towards dog. I saw this video so many times because I also had fabulous experiences there.
OMG the doooooog I‘m dying!!!!! Best video ever! 😍😍😍😍😍😍 (Obviously also because Nepal is the best... did three weeks on the Annapurna Trek and it was an unforgettable experience!)
Am 65 year old Nepali lady and heard a lots of about Mardi Himal. Planning to be there next week 30 th jan onwards.Hope my health n weather will support me. Plz. Pray for journey. Thank you for posting this awesome vedio.
I've gotta say Kraig , I love what you do. I'm a big backpacker and I'm getting into hunting so obliviously on my days off I'm out on the trail but your videos are so helpful to get me thru my workdays. Beautifully shot, insane trails , and fairly often content . Definitely gonna join the $2 a month thing cuz why the hell not, especially if it helps you keep doing what you do . Keep up the good work!!
I LOVE these no-talking videos. I love just seeing what you see like I’m walking with you. I swore off hiking videos for a while because they just felt like gear reviews or really arrogant “this is the only way to hike” type things. Thanks for making content like this 🥰
What a beautiful trekk and what a beautiful newfound friendship along the way 🐶❤️ I wonder how many beautiful memories that dog and others with him/her has given to kind hikers over the years 🙏
@@tomezhao I am from Nepal and I can confidently say that Kraig wasn't the first and will not be the last one that dog will walk along the trail. These mountain dogs can be found in almost all of the trekking routes (Tibetan breeds or cross breeds are common in ABC and EBC trek, I think one appears somewhere in the video too). They are so used to walking the trail that they know where to stop and come down again with another partner (most of the time). They are like guides or friends in the mountains. Most aren't stray either but also obviously not the kind of pet people are accustomed with in the West.
A beautiful film: you captured the essence of trekking in Nepal perfectly. Thank you for bringing back the memories - I lived in that area for 3 years in the early 80’s at the British-sponsored farm at Lumle
Perfection shooting , perfectly doggo companion , Nicely every angle of your scenes n scenic photography 👌🏼everything so fine. Editing great too. Perfect 👌🏼
Beautiful video and that dog was absolutely adorable. At 2:10 I was thinking what a beautiful clouds until i realized it is the mountain. Epic video great shots, great atmosphere.
In Nepal Every where you can see Beautiful mountains and Spectacular View of Rivers, jungle, Landscape, etc....I m proud of Being Nepali living in Heaven.🇳🇵🇳🇵

Thank you for visiting my country. It is always interesting to see how Nepal looks through the eyes of other people. Your other videos are amazing as well. Lots of love from Nepal 🇳🇵❤️
I keep coming back to this video, I love your stuff. You inspired me to road trip around Iceland this past fall and it was one of the best decisions of my life. Keep up the great work.
Bro... this feels like I’m watching a movie with the dog being a new character. I’m getting strong zombie apocalypse vibes!!! This was a beautiful film. Great job!
Recently went there. It was off-season and there were lots of leeches but it was sooo sooo so beautiful. I miss mardi so much so now I'm here watching this 😅
