Amber finally gets to do something she has been talking about doing for years--hike to the top of Mount Timpanogos. Jason is experienced with the hike, so he leads the way on the fifteen mile trek up the second highest mountain in Utah's Wasatch Range. The views are incredible and the hike is epic, making for a perfect "bucket list" experience.

So glad you made this video the scenery is so much more vivid and beautiful. You always know how to brighten up an other wise boring day for an old man stuck at home. Love you guys and wish the children well in school. Gonna be different this year. God Bless and stay safe and healthy.

It seems to be the year for hiking up this peak. Lot’s of RU-vidrs have done it recently. So glad you got to do it. I used to love hiking when I was younger and fitter. I’m all crippled up with arthritis these days so can’t hike myself so I really enjoy watching others do them. Beautiful place to hike.

😂 That’s what I’ve discovered. We were supposed to do it last year, but schedule conflicts made it so we wouldn’t be able to come up during peak wildflower season. I’m glad we decided to postpone.

Congratulations on your achievement. I once attempted to climb Humphreys Peak (Arizona) -12,637 feet and got within about 1,000 feet from the summit but had to quit from exhaustion. Later I discovered I had a heart condition (working at only 70%) so it was a victory of sorts. You all did well.

I visited Utah recently and went on this hike. I saw your sticker in the shack on the summit! It was one of the hardest things I've ever done but definitely a bucket list item!

That was so much fun to watch! How long did it actually take? I've been on top of Pikes Peak in Colorado several times (14,110 ft) but you sure don't walk up it! lol What a metaphor for putting in the long walk for God to see the result of his beauty and wonders. If we turn back too soon, we miss the full picture of beauty and accomplishment. Thanks for another amazing vlog!

It took us five hours to get to the summit and three to descend. There are so many metaphors with hiking mountains. I find the experience to be as much of a spiritual one as it is physical.

That is a huge hike and the elevation is a Fantastic view of the Salt Lake/American Fork Valley! I hope you packed a big lunch! Mindy and Branden Bingham did this same hike thru the night to be up there to watch the sunrise. 👍👍😇😇😎😎

When Jason hiked it his first time, he started at midnight to be at the summit by sunrise. Maybe we’ll have to try that next time. 😊

I think seeing the sunrise from the top would be epic! If I convinced myself to hike it again, that’s probably how I’d plan it. I have Mt. Nebo in my sights for next year, though.
