Hiking Toward the Falls (Rim Trail, Lucifer Falls)  

This was my first time in Lucifer Falls State Park. I was on this hike with my child, and it ended up being a longer hike than we expected. We planned a short walk, but part of the trail where we were to loop back was closed - so we kept going thinking the next cross trail would work - but it too was closed. So, while this is a great place to hike, be prepared that in December, some parts of the trail system will be off limits. This part of the trail is close to the outlook of the falls.
